if your playing with friends this is actually extremely easy.

First, trade all your properties to a friend, and have everyone else do the same. as this player keeps landing on his own properties he will eventually get hotels.

Upon the other player getting hotels just try to land on them by winning minigames and taking the highest numbered die so you can land on more spaces.

I did this on accident, so there are a few ways to get it, but this is the quick one.

TheIcemanComethI believe this has to be done in Tycoon Richest mode, since that's the only one that allows trading?

TheIcemanComethCan confirm it is done in Tycoon. It's nice to have the trading option *IF* you need it. If you play your minigames right and get the right die rolls, you can just pass in the trades, as the player you're setting up to get the hotels will probably be a goodly ways towards that by the time you reach the trade rounds.

Here is what I did, what I find is the easiest way to get this achievement, since it's hard and long to build houses/hotels with human players.

    ---
When you go play a Mode in Richest put the CPU's difficulty at High Skill as that should make it to where they put up houses and hotels faster. The CPU first needs to have Monopoly (which is identified with gold lining around their properties). The only way they can put up hotels is by them landing on their own properties and putting 4 houses on them first. But if the difficulty is set to High Skill they should be able to get houses and hotels in no time. I also suggest playing Industrialist Mode or Tycoon Mode as Industrialist Mode has 9 rounds and Tycoon Mode has 12 rounds which will give the CPU more time to get hotels.

Credits go to Bishop24 who wrote an entire achievement guide for this game on xbox360achievements.org (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/monopoly/guide/). His solution for this achievement is very good, and I wanted to share it here.

OMG iTz SlovDoesn't really work and isn't as fast as mentioned! Played 2.5 games and none of the AI even came close to getting hotels. Tried the other solution and popped it first attempt by the 7th round

vegansoundHello OMG iTz Slov, and thanks for your feedback.

I'm sorry it didn't work for you, but it perfectly did for me, the couple of friends I suggested it, and certainly for the two persons who voted positive for my solution.

But I'm glad you finally got it, nevermind which solution you used.
