Easy enough. Just unlock half the Ability Upgrades via Control Points. Health, Melee cost 3 points each after the first tier but Ability upgrades only cost 2 so bear that in mind. I recommend sinking early points into health or energy and upgrading the Launch ability as much as possible as soon as you get it. You can upgrade Launch to let you throw grenades/missiles back and you can also throw enemies on low health and larger objects which gives you a lot more options in combat.
