This achievement can be earned after unlocking the Weather System Control near the end of the game. Once you do, a door in the village will open:
Head inside and make your way through some puzzles. The first requires that you shoot the ball off of bumpers, then run/dash and catch it in the next section as the ball cannot be brought across white sections:
Shooting the first bumper will raise the second, shooting the second will raise the third, and shooting the third will raise a round bumper in the rightmost area that you need to shoot to raise a second, then shoot the second to raise third, then shoot the third to raise a fourth. After shooting the fourth, a ball will appear on a platform nearby that you can use moving forward.
Note that the final piece of Lore for the
Old Memories achievement is found on a nearby desk.
You now have to carry the ball (by dashing with it) along a precarious path:
Time your dashes to avoid the lasers and be careful not to lose the ball, lest it fly away and activate an explosive pillar. Once you get to the left path, you can use the ball to disable the lasers which may save you some hassle if you need to navigate the path repeatedly while trying to get past the next section where you again need to shoot the ball off of bumpers, then quickly dash across to to catch it:
Once you get the ball to the final area, you need to quickly shoot it into the four sequential round bumpers, after which a secret area will be revealed. Go inside to collect the loot and unlock the achievement.
