This is for filling the 1st stat meter.

As you might expect, XP gets harder the more you level up. Diminishing returns.

I played a lot of Horde, since you get XP when you die, and don't have to finish the level. The more controllers you have, the more of a buddy system bonus you get.

There are 5 areas to level up, and you have 4 characters. If you have a favorite, go ahead and level them up twice, but you don't have to. You can get the 5 achievements by spreading the love around. (That's probably obvious.)

I preferred the Pleasantville level, but that's me. I like the crane.

ScoobyDoobyD0nti ran all rounds on each map, id have to strongly recommend carnival for when you need a lot of XP (25 rounds, ~70k XP solo) and when you need less, the first map (all the way on the left, its only 10 rounds) which landed me ~3k solo. the middle map takes longer and generally i didn't get much more XP to say its more worth while, UNLESS you find yourself struggling. In that case, the crane becomes OP. Carnival is very easy imo because its so big, you can run loops forever on it without much headache.

At the end of each mission, you get points based on how many zombies you have killed and how much destruction you have done. My suggestion is to play the same character each mission and at the end of the mission, put the points on where you want. If you play mission 2 with a different character than the 1st mission, they will start as a new character and have 0 added skill points. But then if you play mission 3 with the same character as the 1st, you will have the few skill points still. I started with upgrading my health and weapon damage until they were maxed. Once you beat the game, it will take you out to the main menu. You have the options to continue, start new campaign, New game +, horde, options, etc. If select continue, you will be taken back to the last mission and if you chose the same character, you will have the points still from the last mission you just added. You already know where the nests are and the last part of the mission isn't really that hard. I got 3-4 points to add each mission. Just rince and repeat until you max out all the abilities.

At the fourth level there is a side mission called Snack Attack. Early on I think this is the best way to earn the skill points.

You seem to be able to run through it as much as you want to.

For my first run I got two skill points, then I saw it scored on kills, items collected and did it again picking up everything, kills way more than required, emptying guns just because...

For each run through I got three skill points. After the level you can then assign the skill points into the damage slots.

Also keep in mind if you start New Game Plus after you complete mission 10, your stats will carry over and will make it easier to get more xp as you will received 2x the points.
