How to unlock the Death from above achievement

    Actions
    Go to the skills menu and unlock the parachute ability. Go to a bivouac, go to garage, and spawn a helicopter. Take the helicopter up, find enemies on the ground, jump out from high altitude, steer towards the enemies, parachute in, and kill one within 5 seconds to unlock this.

    pointmanmikeAll excellent solutions, it took me doing it 4 times for the achievement to unlock, I'm basically saying if you do it right (using a shotgun on a enemy you land next or close too) and it doesn't unlock, keep doing it because it will unlock eventually.

    The easiest way to guarantee a single enemy where you can land directly from a bivouac is from the Sunken Clipper Bay Bivouac in the North side of Smugglers Cove. North from the bivouac there is the Maunga Nui Port.

    Within the port is a large building with a single sniper on its rooftop, usually looking north, with his back to your jump point.

    As long as you have purchased the parachute skill you can base jump by holding cn_A as you run off the cliff facing the port. Have some faith and take the leap, land on the roof and kill the sniper within 5 seconds and pop goes the Achievement.

    Pretty straight forward. Land afrer a parachute jump and kill an enemy within 5 seconds. The other guides do a great job pointing you to where you can achieve this. What they DON'T mention is that the kill apparently have to be done with a firearm. Tried it out like 5 Times with CQC but no dice. As soon as I used an assault Rifle, it unlocked straight away.
