I finished this one last night and it really isn't very difficult.

You begin the level in a building. Go down the hallway, choose to kill the surrendering German or not, it doesn't matter, and across a terrace. Go downstairs. Gary Oldman will tell you to be quiet and you'll hear a radio operating. Turn the corner and you'll see a lot of Germans, one operating a radio. Make sure you have a full clip and open fire. You should have no trouble taking them all out with 2 or 3 clips.

Go down the hallway to your left. When you turn the corner you will be ambushed by several Germans with grenades. My suggestion is to throw a couple of grenades, pop out and fire.

Proceed downstairs, turn a couple of corners and you'll see some Germans guarding a Russian. They won't see you. Take them out and turn right. The fighting begins. This is a lot easier than the kitchen scene in Ring of Steel's Asylum. I found it easiest to use the same strategy as above; grenades, pop out, fire, hide.

After you've finished with them you'll come to a large open area. German soldiers will be firing bazooka's and MGs at you from across the stairwell. Don't overlook the two Germans crouching at the left side of the room. The easiest way to complete this part is to ignore the MGs and bazookas, run to the room on the right and fall into the hole in the ground.

There will be one German standing in the hallway as you come to the door. If you're ready for him it's no problem. Proceed down the hall and you'll be able to avoid all of the nastiness above and come up BEHIND the Germans. Pick them off and your teammates will join you.

Go down the hall and take out an MG emplacement. If you lie prone you should be able to snipe him easily.

Go downstairs and follow a hallway. You will know you're about to get into a firefight when you see the shadows of people running on the wall. Be ready when you turn the corner because they are deadly with their aim. Proceed to the room on the right and use the wall for cover. Cocktails and grenades are your friends.

Work your way through the room. You may want to pick up an MP-40 at this point as there are dozens of them lying around the room after you've cleared it.

Go to the entrance and mop up the Germans in the courtyard. When you've taken them all out and they start running out of the subway entrance (NOTE: they do not stop until you've advanced) dash out of the building, mowing them down and take refuge in the subway entrance. Wait until you're healed then dash into the street, behind the burned out tank and into the doorway. Crouch and peek around the corner, pick off the Germans and slowly advance. Be aware that you may be shot by enemies from the other side of the street.

Use this pattern until you've advanced to the end of the street.

You'll receive a prompt to execute the wounded Germans. Follow the Russians to the subway entrance and you'll see 3 Germans surrendering. If you don't shoot them someone else will so you might as well conserve your ammo. Reznov will open the subway door and you can proceed underground.

You will have a choice whether to go to the right or the left. I choose the left. The Germans will be waiting for you after you cross a straightaway, go downstairs and make a left turn. Proceed carefully. I did this in one go by being very cautious. I hit the ground and crawled forward, picking off the Germans as they appeared. It was slow going but I didn't have to redo the whole area. Duck into the rooms on the left as they appear, but be wary of Germans who will dash into the room. It shouldn't be too difficult because they will come straight into your range of fire.

Look for Germans in the subway cars. Follow your squad and defend Reznov while he tries to open a door in the side of the wall. You can just stay in cover and shoot at the enemy that makes themselves visible. Eventually a rush of water will overwhelm the enemy (and soak you a bit too), but you'll be 30 GS richer.
