My biggest tip is this... When you get to the second large room, where you can pick up the sniper rifle with scope (one in the stairs up, more leaning against the balcony rails), load it up and hang onto it for the last (roof) part. Sure, pick off a few guys (flamethrowers are great targets since they explode and kill others), but take at least 25 rounds (more is better) to the roof. Maybe you pick up more along the way, but the rifle saved my bacon on the roof.

OK, other tips: First big room: Take out the guy on the balcony to the left, then make a mad dash (push down on left stick) to the right. You can take a quick breather behind the downed column (go prone), but the idea is to get to the corner that separates the room you enter with the room to the right. There is a great corner to hide in L-shaped column, don't go into the next room just yet). From here you can rifle a couple guys in the next room, then dash behind a crate. From here, get the guys under the scaffolding (turn left) before storming the next room.

From here on, it's pretty straightforward, until you get to the roof.

First thing I did was snipe the guy with the panzerschreck (upper left balcony).
Then the obvious guy across the way and to the left.
Now I just snipped the other 2 or 3 guys that hide across the way.
Once they are down, you need to move to the left.
Try to snipe the guys behind the next crates (use tight corners to shoot them in the arms for a one-shot kill).
You eventually get the 3 or 4 guys down.
The rooms to the left are straightforward too.
Once it's clear, it's back to the main path.
Once you are back out in the open, there's another guy with a panzerschreck (up and to left). Take him out first (you should be hiding behind the barricade, not the sandbags).
Now snipe as many others as you can and the level should open up.

    Good luck!

OnzaSo true... There are many good sniping angles up there, and without it, I fear it would be near impossible. With it, and enough ammo, this part is not that bad (just make every shot count).

What's interesting is that I recently finished Call of Duty Classic, and got to see the nearly the same scene over again. It was quite cool.

Just wanted to say this wasn’t even close to being as hard as heart of the reich, don’t be fooled by everyone fear mongering.

The above guide is good, but the video below worked perfectly and things were very clear. All credit to

lXl Will lXlThis video helped me so much. I wouldn't have been able to do it without knowing exactly where the fire was coming from. Much thanks!

HostiileriAnd where are all the grenades from that clip?! The guy gets to shoot everyboby in peace. That's not too hard. It's basic Call of Duty. I on the other hand can't be still more than 2 secs before I have to dash for cover from a grenade rain.

klobeastWhether or not this video was captured on veteran difficulty (not in my opinion)...this video was a perfect strategy. Not sure I could have beaten the level without a couple of these tips.

Just got this achievement this afternoon, shouldn't take longer than 45 minutes. Lot easier than Heart of the Reich, thankfully. The main trouble here is the very start of the mission, managed to die quite a few times here. Run forward and then immediately right and take cover there behind the sandbags, before taking down the 4-5 guys in this small room. Try to give yourself enough space to evade grenades without being killed. Then, as soon as your team moves forward, move to where these soldiers were and take down the guys that were shooting you when you started the level. There should be 2-3 on the raised platforms and a couple on the far balcony to your right. Once they're cleared out, hug the right wall and approach the stairs and you'll hit your first checkpoint here. The rest of the level is smooth sailing from here so I won't go into too much detail. The sniping section is straight-forward, you'll advance as soon as enough enemies have been taken down, and the last battle on the top floor is fairly easy too.

TIP: Be sure to save ammo for the PTRS-41 sniper rifle you picked up on the balcony, there's more ammo for it to the right of it. It'll come in handy for the top floor, so just use your rifle to take down the flamethrower guys. Not sure if I got lucky here, but when it came to the top floor I forgot to save ammo for the sniper. By the time I backtracked through the level to pick up more ammo and made it back, my team had done most of the work.

Shouldn't be a major problem, any queries just send me a message. Can give some advice on HotR too, completed that very recently.
