This is tips for a co-operative strategy on this mission. I haven't completed this particular mission in Hard difficulty, so I cannot guarantee for sure that this approach will work, however it might help. Notice firstly that the two bases on this mission are not next to one another; Player 1 is on land and Player 2 is on the left hand side of the map in the water. In this mission you need to prevent Kirovs from escaping the map and destroy the 5 targets that are launching the Kirovs.

I recommend a division of labour between the two players for this mission. Player 1 (land) should mainly focus on building Apollo Fighters to eliminate each Kirov and prevent them leaving the map. Player 2 (water) should mainly focus on building Century Bombers to take out the targets. However, Player 2 should also have some Apollo Fighters as well. Initially, both players should build Apollo Fighters quickly to destroy the first Kirov, particularly Player 2 as the first Kirov flies directly towards player 2 and over their base. Player 2 should probably quickly take it down with their newly built Apollos. Player 2 is probably going to want (at least) 8 Apollo Fighters to take out any Kirovs flying directly towards Player 2. Player 1, however is going to want (at least) 16 Apollo Fighters; I recommend that you build four airfields directly next to each other underneath the ore facilities. Player 1 seems to get attacked on this mission more than Player 2 does, mainly from the right hand side. After player 1 has built their first airfield, you want to quickly toss up a Boot Camp and build 20 Peacekeepers to deal with the Soviet Conscripts and occasionally vehicles, also make sure to keep building power plants and turrets (particularly on the right hand side of the base) to ensure that the airfields are protected. At one point a rogue dreadnought attacked me, so you might want to build Tanya too in case this happens after you've built you core of Apollo Fighters. While player 1 is protecting their base, player 2 should be getting Max Clearance in order to start building Bombers. Player 2 is going to want to build 8 bombers.

In terms of targets the way we went about completing the mission was to firstly do one bombing run on each of the three targets closest to Player 2's position (but without destroying them!). The reason for this is that as time goes on, the Soviets start launching more and more Kirovs at a time (& if you destroy a target, Oleg gets angry). If all three targets are weak, they can be eliminated in quick succession, leaving only 2 targets from which the enemy can launch Kirovs. Once those three targets fall, they can then only launch two Kirovs as a time, and the one at the bottom of the map is easy to deal with as there are few defences there. Then take out the bottom target and then finally bomb the centre target until it falls.

Tips in terms of taking out Kirovs, you do need to be careful as there are sometimes MIGS about. While it can be tempting to simply send in your Apollos straight away to destroy a Kirov, this isn't the best strategy always. This is because you want to minimise the amount of flying you have to do over Soviet airspace, so sometimes it can be productive to wait for a Kirov to move closer before attacking it, particularly if it launches from the area with the strongest Soviet defences. This is necessary to minimise losses, also unless you are desperate do not send only 2 or 3 Apollos against a Kirov as there is a risk that they will get shot down by Migs very quickly without really damaging the Kirov.
