This is for those who're stealthily playing this in the office without a controller.
With PC/ keyboard controls:
1. Choose Original Mode (doesn't matter which language), press Enter to proceed
2. Press ESC to go into the settings.
3. Change Difficulty to Level 1.
4. Change Lives to 20.
5. Return to Main Menu (press H to save the settings).
6. Press SHIFT to add credits. Start the game (Story Mode or Character Mode will do).
7. The Left, Right, Up and Down arrows control your movement (or WASD if you want but I don't have time for that). U is the shoot button. H is for using the bomb.
8. Just shoot your way through. The aim is to survive long enough during each round to eventually KO your opponent on the right side of the screen. Every time you shoot something, you get combos or perfect hits that add the points up, and sends an attack to your opponent. If you remove the opponent's HP totally, you win the round, get a bonus, and proceed to the next round.
9. It's okay to die, and retry if you did badly.
10. If you're on a good run, and have amass huge points, press ESC to go into Settings, and press H on "Create Interrupt Save" to save the game. At any time if you choose to leave the game (e.g., you want load this to prolong an achievement streak), press Start at main menu, and the game will continue from where you save.
11. There are about seven total stages for this game. Beat the game, and you'll get in excess of 2 million points to unlock all the "Score"-related achievements.
12. The game will ask whether you want to upload your record score. Choose H on Yes to unlock another achievement.
This game is fun and easy. Using the PC controls make it look like you're working when in the office. My colleagues commented that I've been typing really quickly. If it gets really intense, press ESC to pause the game.
