How to unlock the Long Way Down achievement

  During Mission 4: Proxy War, at the start of the level grab the Kar98k sniper rifle resting on the crate in front of you. After regrouping, and storming the base upon the missile strike, sprint through all the enemies to spot 2 helicopters flying in around the base including one coming in for a landing. Line up the shot, hold your breath, and hit the pilot to bring the chopper down, unlocking the achievement.
  
  Additionally, you can reload the checkpoint and grab all 3 of these achievements in the same spot:

  The Wild Fire achievement in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare worth 89 pointsTake down a flying Helicopter with a molotov.

  A curiosity, this achievement can also be picked up in special operations, I got it when I was doing the hunting day operation

  ---Mission 4: Proxy War---
  
  - Shortly after storming the walls you will get a Checkpoint right before a group of enemies including 2 helicopters
  
  - You can get all 3 of these Cheevs by just reloading the checkpoint until you get all 3.

  - Shoot the driver of one of the helis
  
  - Throw a Molotov @ the closest heli
  
  - If Ashes to Ashes doesn't pop when you take out the heli...there's an ATV that pulls up to the right of the helipad that has 4 enemies inside which you can throw a Molotov @ to recieve the last cheev!
  
  + With every miscellaneous Achievement use "Reload Checkpoint" to your advantage, also difficulty won't void any of these so you can do them all on Recruit

  Long Way Down
  Crash a helicopter by shooting the pilot.
  
  When you start of the mission Proxy War you will want to grab the Kar98K from the box on the left-hand side just before the stairs. As you assault the air field there will be multiple helicopters you can try and shoot the pilot out of. This video will show you how to unlock both Long way Down & Wild Fire achievements.
