    The other guides are fine, but you can get this without spending money and having to be the required rep level to do an engine swap.

    After you complete chapter 2 the next campaign mission Lucas will ask you to go try to convince someone to sell you a part. When you select this mission you will be tasked with winning a race with a vehicle that he has left for you at that location. The achievement popped for me once I won that race as it apparently had a swapped out engine.

    I completed this at rep 18 and for the car I have I need rep 23 to swap my engine.

    Actions
    Very simple when you have reach the required rep level to unlock an engine just swap it out. Then win a race.

    Press Y when highlighting any of the engine parts and then press A on the engine you wish to swap to. Leave garage and just win any race you wish.

    GoyetteQCYou can also get this as part of the story. Just after you complete chapter 2 you get the introduction to offroad racing and the car you have to race has an engine swap.

    Actions
    Simply chose 'Performance' from the garage menu. From the 'Engine' section click cn_Y to 'Swap Engine' and then purchase and equip any engine that you like (I chose the last one as it is great for racing and completing the story).

    Now exit the garage and win any race for your achievement.
