There is a checkpoint right before the first set of spikes in the game, you can just keep falling into them repeatedly until you get the achievement.
Alternitavely if playing on lower difficulties there is a gap that you can jump off right next to those spikes to make it go quicker since you have more health and the spikes take a few hits to kill you.
