  Enter the daughter boss fight cave without previously getting the candies. Your character will get injured from the mantrap to the right and then u need to drop a grenade

  You need to actually keep moving to the right as far as you can, using grenades when you have to to proceed further after hitting the man trap and losing your legs. From the description, on my first try I just grenaded myself a bunch of times until I died after hitting the trap and that does not work. Still a +1 from me though!

  I have checked every inch of this boss cave I cannot see any trap Where is it?
  
  Edit: I found it but your guide needs updating. You have to jump to the left and drop down and then the trap will hit you from there crawl right Grenade the first block. And keep going right after the spikes you will be boxed in and final grenade will end you
