I did this on classic puzzles, easy difficulty

I kept restarting the game until there were at least seven number sevens to place then put all the rest of the numbers in first saving the sevens until the end

There is no restrictions on mistakes so as long as you keep the sevens until the end the achievement should pop

^He probably hadn't returned back to the menu or pressed "Play again" after completing the puzzle. That is needed for the achievements to unlock

In order to unlock this achievement, you have to complete a puzzle where the last seven numbers solved are 7's.

In order to do this, you will need to have a puzzle that have at most two 7's displayed at the beginning of the puzzle (in black).

You actually don't have to leave all the 7's until the very end. You can enter 7's into the correct squares, just make sure you don't solve the puzzle. Once you get to the final number before solving the puzzle, erase the 7's that you entered/solved yourself (in blue) and then enter that last number. If you now have just seven (or more) squares left blank that are all for 7's, you can enter them in last and the achievement will unlock.

The best way to do this is make sure you have Show Remaining turned on underneath the Game Options as this tells you how many you have left of each number to play.

So do a Classic > Easy Sudoku, then just keep clicking New Game until you see the little number 7 (or higher) on the big number 7 so you won't have to keep counting how many 7's are left.

Please be aware that to start a New Game you have to click the pause button in the top right hand corner while doing any Sudoku and then select New Game, DO NOT click Restart as this will just keep giving you the same puzzle and you might not realise.

I believe you can use 7's on the Sudoku as long as you don't complete the puzzle, just make sure when you have put all the other numbers in that you have the seven 7's remaning left to play.

The other thing that will help is if you put Show All Notes on under Game Options as then you see what possible numbers you can play in the unsolved cells, this will make it easier and faster for you.

If you are clever about this you can also keep an eye out for the layout of the Sudoku while starting New Games that you need get other achievements as well as that is what I did.
