Can be obtained right after picking up the piece of the photo from the picture frame in the den and being attacked. This achievement is by far the most annoying and "hard" as it is a bit luck based. When you wake up, quickly open as many doors in the house you can head into the kitchen. The transition between the hall and the kitchen is where you want to be. There is a light switch on the hall side, this is the switch we are going to be using for the achievement. The ghost will spawn in the house after 4 minutes of playing, there are 3 things we need to pay attention to (I advise a decent headset for this).

    1) At some point you will hear a radio cracking upstairs, this indicates that the ghost has spawned in.

    2) Next, when the ghost gets close your heartbeat will be heard.

    3) Lastly when the ghost is about to attack you the screen will have an old VHS tear effect for a moment.

When the VHS tear effect happens spam the light switch and hope that the ghost gets caught in the light.

You can see how I did the achievement at about the 0:29:00 in my all achievements walkthrough.

Mr WhiteshirtTry quitting and loading the save, I had to do that once in my attempts for the achievement.

WolfheartSpellThanks, but apparently it doesn't matter if the phone rings or not, she'll spawn anyway.

Mr WhiteshirtGood to know, I tried like 6 times in a row and she just stopped spawning for me at one point lol. I had to re-load my save to fix it.

Hey guys and gals! Here is my 100% Achievement Guide for Infliction!

Ok, so this is the only hard & luck based achievement in the game.
So what we need to do is, you will wake up in a bedroom. So go downstairs and in the hallway leading to the kitchen, you will see TWO light switches.
Both in close proximity to each other (more or less next to each other), one for the kitchen, and one for the light just above the open door leading to another room.
So, go ahead and turn both of those lights off and the phone will start to ring.. Answer it & the guy basically says how to kill the ghost.

Now, sadly is a long wait of around 3-4 minutes while the ghost spawns.
You will know when she finally does as you hear a faint crackling sound from the radio first, then as she gets close you will hear your heartbeat and finally when shes about to attack, your screen goes into a sort of VHS tear effect for a moment.
AS SOON AS YOU SEE THIS VHS TEAR EFFECT, NOW IS THE MOMENT TO SPAM THE A BUTTON ON THE LIGHTSWITCH, which hopefully she gets caught in and you unlock the achievement!
Why its lucky is because she could either spawn infront of you or come behind you from the kitchen area, but it is best to just stick with the light above the doorway in the hallway rather than the kitchen!

This will take you a few tries though. One more thing, if it does take you a few tries and the phone stops ringing, just pick it up and hang up straight away and the game will progress (Instead of you having to talk to that guy)

Go to 27:45 in my video to see where and how to do this!

    Hope This Helps!
