How to unlock the Good One, Babe achievement

This secret achievement requires you to "Watch Deathtrap kill 50 Enemies" which can partially be done at the start of the game when you first meet Gaige. DeathTrap will then accompany you in the "On the mountain of Mayhem" quest where you can let him kill even more enemies. Deathtrap will then return on the assault on Hearts desire in the quest "The Call of Gythian" where he will one-shot most enemies. This achievement can be more difficult to get if you don't pay attention so be careful and if the achievement tracker gets stuck like it did for me don't worry the counter is not glitched your progress will still be there even if the counter is frozen. Once Deathtrap clears the way for you to enter Heart's Desire, if you haven't got the achievement you may have to replay the Empowered Grawn boss fight to get the rest of the kills however due to the circumstances, it will be much harder for Deathtrap to kill enemies as he sits stationary in the middle of the room and if focused on the boss wont be able to kill any ememies. Otherwise you could start the DLC again on another difficulty/character or join a co-op buddy's game.

As long as you make sure that you try not kill enemies when Deathtrap is around this achievement will come through natural story progression.

NOTE: Thanks to BigTymer, you can save and quit during the quests where Deathtrap accompanies you and the enemies will respawn giving you more chances to get the achievement as long as you haven't missed your opportunity entirely.
NOTE: Thanks to Black Cobra, you can redo the Empowered Grawn fight in which Deathtrap will re-appear as you need him to take down its shield.
NOTE: Thanks to RuneSlayer4421, the achievement must be done with one character however multiple playthroughs on different difficulties such as TVHM will continue to count towards the progress.

If you have missed this achievement I believe you will have to redo the DLC in order to unlock it however your current progress should remain the same.

Eddie PhoenixAnnoyingly, my tracker has stopped at 98%. I've finished the game, but went back to the Empowered Grawn fight on Negul Neshai and reloaded a few times to get it this far. Does anyone know how I can progress this further or if something similar happened them?

EDIT: Started up TVHM and got to the first mission with Deathtrap just for a few kills, and nothing happened after getting 50+. Quite annoying.

An easy way to get this achievement after you have completed the DLC:

    1. If you have Mayhem Mode on, deactivate it on Sanctuary.

    2. Load into Negul Neshai map.

    3. Rush through the map to the boss fight with Empowered Grawn. (Deathtrap will always respawn here to aid you in the fight, even after completing the DLC).

    4. As soon as you drop down into the arena turn immediately right and then go up the first small flight of stairs before turning immediately left and continuing up the stairs into the sort of “control room” at the top. This has a large circular power unit of some kind (not sure how best to describe this, but you can’t miss it) right in the middle of the far wall.

    5. Jump up onto the desk to the right of this unit and tuck yourself into the gap behind it. You will now be completely unreachable by any enemies and take no damage during the boss fight, which, if left alone, Deathtrap will eventually complete for you.

    6. Leave the game alone until Deathtrap kills all enemies, including the Empowered Grawn, which given time he will definitely do on his own.

    7. Quit out, load in and repeat the above until the achievement unlocks.

I’m not sure how many kills Deathtrap made on my first full run-through the DLC, but I did that on Mayhem 4, so it probably wasn’t many.

Switching to no-mayhem and doing the above: it took me about 3-4 reloads and a little over an hour to get the achievement. Along the way I also got a nice anointed Old Guard shield to drop without me killing a single enemy (and with no mayhem mode on). Deathtrap did all the work…

Hope that helps. I’ve tried to explain as best I can so please don’t down vote me if it doesn’t work: it 100% did for me, so the only other reason it won’t for you is because I haven’t explained something properly… happy to try to add to the above if I have missed something…

UPDATE: Thanks to KainMarks for informing me this doesn't work with FL4K unfortunately as he's too big to hide in that spot. I did this on Moze so I can't see why it wouldn't work with Zane and Amara as well: but not FL4K it seems...

VantaHoboThanks for this hint mate, I knew about this achievement, but I brain-bonered it anyway.
Just as a note, I did it with FL4K, it is VERY, VERY difficult, but with practiced timing, you can jump/crouch his big ass in there hehe. I actually got a few kills by this method anyway just running around before I thought to try the hiding trick, so Fl4k can still do this, just takes longer and more reloads, but just equip spidey-ant for some extra regen, run around until DT gets some kills, log out, rinse repeat (but highly suggest trying your full on method, as I said just have to jump/crouch his ass in there).
Thx again, it would be a pain to restart the missions from start.

MitchOssThanks VantaHobo, I just spammed A and B in the corner and got in there within a few seconds every time on FL4K

This can be done when you first meet up with Gaige and Deathtrap. The Mission is "The Party Out of Space" and it will say -Kick some asses with Gaige. Just let Deathtrap do all the work. MAKE SURE to save and quit before the last enemy is killed and it should spawn you where the fight first starts. Rinse and Repeat until you get the achievement. You will have more missions with Deathtrap later, but this for the fastest way to get the achievement.
Also- keep an eye on your achievement tracker. Some people say that it was glitch-y so make sure that the counter keeps going up!

MineMasterjake1The achievement has to be done in a campaign "playthrough" if you will, Mayhem mode does not matter (although its easier to do without mayhem mode turned on). Personally, I played Zane, Mayhem 0, normal mode (NOT TVHM) however from other people I have determined that if you don't get the kills required during the story - the only way to get the achievement on that playthrough is to replay the Empowered Grawn boss fight in the ship however this method is very slow as if Deathtrap focuses on the boss he wont stop til he's dead or out of view of Deathtrap. This means some people replay the story on either normal or TVHM to enjoy the DLC again making sure not to kill any enemies when DT is around. The tracker goes up per playthrough and since a different character counts as a different playthrough, the tracker wont go up until you have met the kills you were at before. Runeslayer got his achievement by replaying on TVHM same character. My tracker glitched and didn't move after 4% but I still got the chevo hence the comment in my solution. Hope that clears things up!

Hot Air IntakeThis is indeed the best way I wish it would overtake the other one because that one takes wayyyy too long. Just start a new character and save quit over and over again, my Zane that I started for this challenge has 16 minutes played.
