This achievement first requires you to complete some milestones in the game. You complete milestones by playing and over time you will be able to turn them in on the computer in your room in the Spacerig.
You will get 2 stars or so for every milestone you complete and turn in on the computer. The basic ones aren’t very difficult and you should get them as you play. This will also help you towards completing to the Milestone achievements in the game.
After that, you can start using your stars to unlock perks at the same computer in your room, just move over to the “perks” tab as you will start on the “milestone” tab. It should look like a left to right skill tree set up for the perks.
From there you can either buy cheaper perks that work towards the achievement quicker or perks that work better for your gameplay style. Both will net you the gamerscore. Any perk you upgrade works.
