  When you start playing RE3R, you have to choose between 3 difficulties: Assisted, Standard or Hardcore. There are 2 more difficulties (Nightmare & Inferno) which are blocked unless you finish the game in Hardcore. Once you finish that, you'll unlock Nightmare, and once you finish, Inferno unlocks.
  
  BACKGROUND:
  

  *** Spoiler - click to reveal ***The mechanic of both Nightmare and Inferno is that there are less typewriters, the enemies appear in different locations and so does ammo and other stuff, also the make more damage. The key elements (such as the lock pick, the fuses or the chain cutter) remain the same locations as the default difficulties.
  
  BTW I'm guessing you guys already know how to dodge and master it, because it's mandatory here to use it in the last fight for Nemesis. Meanwhile, let's get started. You CAN use infinite ammo weapons here, and so does coins for healing, combat or defense. These are precious gold for you that will help you out. I'm not going to point out how to obtain these weapons, since other achievements guides here already say that.
  
  Keep in mind that the S.T.A.R.S. manual for dodging enemies is also important, because it'll help you to do perfect dodges more often. And save as much healing items as you can for the final Nemesis fight, in which I carry up to 7 healing items (pretty sure you can save more if searching well). I finish my game in 70 mins.

  NOTES:
  

  *** Spoiler - click to reveal ***NOTE #1: Be sure to grab all of the hip puches in the game and to buy the 2 hip puches that are in the store, each one costs around 4,800 points. That's why I'm carrying way too many items.
  
  NOTE #2: In Inferno, there will be no autosaving function. If you die, you have to restart from your last manual save. Also, If you did, you may want to return to the main menu and load the save again. That way, you'll avoid the loss time (associated with the respawn and all stuff).
  
  NOTE #3: To obtain a S rank, you need to finish the game in under 2 hours, which is going to be pretty forward if you know where to go and will consume you 80 mins maximum. Also, you only can save 5 times.

  
  SAVES:
  

  *** Spoiler - click to reveal *** - Your #1 save will be just after you reactivate the power station (the place were those spiders appear). And before your first encounter with Nemesis in the downtown Raccoon City.
  
  - Your #2 save will be just before fighting Nemesis with flamethrower. There will be a point where you encounter him and must start running at the top of a building. Once you get nearly at the top, on your left side will be a typewriter there. That's the spot.
  
  - Your #3 save will be just after finishing Carlos path in the R.P.D. As soon you regain control of Jill, save there.
  
  - Your #4 save will be a pretty much way forward to the end: just after you created the cure for T-Virus and before fighting Nemesis Stage 2 for the second time (the first time was outside the Clock Tower). NOTE: Here you can decide either do the save as soon as you enter NEST 2, or after you create the cure.
  
  - Your #5 save will be just after beating Nemesis Stage 2 for second time. Believe you want this save right before Nemesis final phase. He has a powerful attack that, if you are not able to dodge, will die no matter what.
  
  Doing that, not only will guaranteed you S-rank, also will help you to manage your times and know where and when to save. You can obtain two achievements in one Inferno play-trough. I'll leave here a video of UhTrance, which is a Resident Evil speed runner for RE2R and RE3R. You can give you an idea in how to clear some scenarios, where do enemies appear and all that stuff. Keep in mind, he's not using infinite ammo weapons or so, he is using normal weapons.

  
  
  NEMESIS PHASE 3:
  

  *** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Took a few tries, but you have to master the dodge while he's doing like "hand attacks", those are powerful, and 1 or 2 doesn't kill you, the problem is when you receive 3 or more hand attacks, that's when you're dead. The coins will keep you if he does hand attacks, but the problem is that you can't use healing items when your downed, and that's when he can kill you.

  Here's my guide for all achievements in the game. You'll need several things from the shop if you want to make this run palatable, which will require at least 102,400 points. the infinite rocket launcher, 2 recovery coins, 2 assault coins, 2 defense coins, 2 hip pouches, and the stars manual. There are timestamps below that include locations to farm challenges for different weapons and kills in general.
  
  You'll want to save 5 times or less during this run as well. Doing this will also get you the Jill Valentine achievement, and spare you the pain of having to complete inferno twice. I saved 4 times in my run, and the 3rd one ended up being unnecessary. So you'll have two freebies to put wherever you like. The timestamps of where exactly I save are also included below.
