This achievement requires you to get a 9500+ rating and hold that rating for a good time/distance. From the time I hit 9500 and got the achievement, it was about 3-4 hours of doing hotlaps around Brands Hatch.

You will need TR(Track Competence), SA(Safety), and RC(Racecraft) to be 99. This will make the achievement much easier and may not require you to do competitive races online to get CP.

Easiest way to get your SA and RC up to 99 is to do 20 minute sprint races, then 45 minute sprint races, then doing 60 minute sprint races. Set the conditions of the race to light rain (run dry tires) and set the time of day to 9 or 10pm, so it is getting dark or completely dark. Set the opponents to 19, and your starting position to 20. Choose a difficulty that is comfortable for you, not too slow that you will be running into the back of the AI, but not fast enough that they are making you push the car too hard. You want to work your way up through the field slowly and cautiously because these ratings are not about winning, but about racing opponents cleanly. It will take a good amount of time to get these ratings to 99, and they will start to go up slowly every couple laps after they reach 80 or so. As long as they flash green every lap, they are going up.

Once you get your TR, SA, and RC to 99, you are very close, if not already there depending on your other ratings. For PC(Pace), this one is your ability, meaning how fast you are. With this it just takes practice, but the higher you get with this the easier it will be for the next part. Do all of the Special Events and try to improve on each of them because your best position on the leaderboards for these events is your rating.

Now you have to work on your CN(Consistency) and CC(Car Control). There is an easy way to get CN to 99 and to do so you just need to pick a car and go around either Brands Hatch or Monza in 1st gear, must be in manual, and try to get your lap times with in 0.1 seconds for about 5-8 laps straight. Your CC will suffer when doing this, so you will need to work on that next by choosing a track you know you can get "Green corners": Fine, Very Good, Ok but messy, and Perfect corners. You want to avoid losing control, going off track, overdriving the car, or going too slow. If you can get a couple laps in a row with Green corners then you should get around 85+ rating.

So you should try to get close to TR-99, CN-95+, CC-85-95, PC-70+, SA-99, RC-99, CP-0. If you can't get your PC up or you are struggling with SA or RC, then you will probably have to start running Competition servers online. If you get 30+ CP rating, you should try to grind out SA and RC again to 99, then do the 1st gear method to get CN to 95+, and lastly try to get CC to 85+ on your best track, probably Monza or Brands Hatch.

I got the achievement with TR-99, CN-90, CC-88, PC-88, SA-94, RC-99, CP-0 with an overall rating of 9554. I actually went from 9514 to 9501, then back up to 9554 when I got my achievement. You just have to stay above 9500 for a good amount of time before you will unlock Platinum.

I hope this helps, and good luck.

V7 Jabba81Very very nice! Congrats and thank you for this guide. One thing: For the specific driver category silver; gold and platinum you have to stay at the rating for about 250km to pop the achievement.

VrruummNo info on how each stat is calculated into the overall rating that I know. I have looked on the forums and on Youtube. They are probably not going to release that information to players.

Vikingo360I found it "quicker" combining this Platinum driver category achievement with the Career related ones.

The solution above was my starting point (cheers to that) but I realized you can improve SA also by doing the the Career.

Once you start the races in pole, get passed to second position and stay behind the leader within 0.7s each lap. Every lap try to go once side by side without overtaking (so you get the voice over "car to the right/left"). Every few laps your SA will go up. In the last two lap go, overtake to first place, fastest lap (not required I think) and win to get Gold.

Since the Special Event are currently broken and can't get more points by doing PC... to get Platinum I did TR-99 (all track medals in practice mode), SA-93 (doing races in career in second place behind leader), RC-99 (overtaking in quick races from last), CC-88 (doing races in career, doing consecutive "green" laps behind second), CN-98 (doing the trick with pit limiter at Brands Hatch, the shortest track), PC-0 (as special events are broken), CP-0 (most of the times if not always, it requires DLCs I don't have).

Once at 9500+ you must keep it for a short while to get the achievement, which I did in again in career mode staying close behind the leader so not losing too many CN rating points but gaining a little more SA and CC.

KGI KlikoNLYou don't need DLC to get CP points. Just luck with the event, takes place on one of the base tracks. And need 70 SA rating and 3 stars on the particular track. Cause with current one on Barcelona in multiplayer only say need increase SA rating (just started).

RSpecializedI've invested 48hrs so far into this awesome game and for the majority I've been working on the ratings and I'm nearing Platinum. I've noticed that RC Race Craft points stop going green/stop being added after approx. 25 to 30 minutes so I would advise only doing max 30min races when going for RC. This has happened to me in every single 1hr, 2hr and 3hr race I've done so I'm pretty certain.

Best track I've found so far for CC Car Control is Paul Ricard. I have my Traction set to 6/7 or near max pending on what car you use and I push for fast laps in a safe manner. I'm currently 96 and it jumped up 8 points in one 20 minute practice session.

SA Safety Rating is best in Quick Race on Monza. Race one opponent over a 25 or 30min max (due to RC as above) and start in second/last place. Stick with them as close as possible and get side by side a few times per lap. I overtake twice per lap for a very short period with one being on the final corner and giving them the lead back just over the start/finish line. Guaranteed RC and SA to go positive green every single lap. Rinse and repeat.

Another good RC method is 25mins on Paul Ricard against 29 AI opponents and starting last. Make your way safely to 1st place and win the race. I just got 5 RC points in one race.

I'm currently 9450ish and I have RC at only 76. My CN has dropped to 89 but I'll do the Monza practice pit limiter trick over 5laps which takes approx. 40mins and it'll jump straight back to 99. Just need to get the RC up a bit and BOOM!

    Brilliant Achievement!
