How to unlock the Citadel of Death achievement

    Actions
    Upgrade a Outpost into a Citadel, and achieve 40k Fleet Power. This is done by researching all the way up to Citadel technology, and researching all of your military technology to get the highest damaging weapons on your Citadel and its Defense Platforms.

    - Laser Weapons do more damage than Missile or Kinetic (For Defense Platforms)
    - Medium slot modules pack more firepower than Small. (For Defense Platforms)
    - Gun Battery Modules do more damage than MIssle Battery or Hangar Bays
    - Ion Cannon provides a big damage boost, but takes up 8 defense slots
    - Defense Station damage buff technology can help
    - Weapon damage increase technology can help
    - Eternal Vigilance Ascension Perk gives a 25% damage boost
    - Synchronized Defenses (Physics Technology) allows 2nd Ion Cannon to be built (huge boost)

    JORAXI don't see Ion Cannons as an option. Are they part of one of the DLCs?

    AdeptCDRShepardIon Cannons are not an option yet, they are part of the Apocalypse DLC. which isn't out yet. It is considered a "Titan" as it's a T class weapon for your defense platforms, bigger than an X class weapon. Just one comment from me for the author, while the technology you need to research is called Synchronized Defenses, the actual starbase building is called Defense Grid Supercomputer which gives you +8 Defense Platform Capacity. Might help those that are new to the game.
