  Just hold an object for approximately 2.5 minutes without moving. Seems to be multiple ways to unlock this, but this is the Easiest by far

  To add more confusion to this one, I got it in the middle of doing one of the first puzzles. Putting a block on a button.. Wasn't afk and wasn't holding the block for more than 20 sec at a time.

  I just earned this after reading the solution and a few of the comments. I had previously beat the game without unlocking this one, so I loaded up the first chapter using the Select Level option on the main menu. Signed the contract in the first room and then made my way down the hallway to the room with the chess pieces on the table and the note telling you to grab one. Picked one up, put my controller down and (in real life) pulled out my phone to pass some time. Didn't keep track of time but got a popup after a bit, no more than 3 minutes. I did not have to start moving again in game, it popped while I still hadn't touched my controller after initially setting it down.

  I just had timed mode running. It took 2:30min. Picked up the first chess piece there is and waited.

  when you first load up the game
  
  sign you contract on the table and turn around
  
  once you walk down the hallway there is a table on the left in the first room you come into with some yellow chess pieces on it
  
  pick up the chess piece with B
  
  once you pick it up - wait about 3 mins with the piece in your hand and the achievement will pop
  
  this is the earliest point in the game you can get this
