After acquiring all the chess pieces start any level with Chapter Select and go to the beginning waiting area and click on the computer screen. You’ll be transported to a room with a chess board. Remove the red pawn that is right next to the red King. Then pickup the blue rook and drop it right where the red pawn was. Checkmate!

TheBoxyBearI'm bad at chess but how is this a checkmate? Can't the king just move towards the red queen?

skittlebizNot every level starts in the bedroom. Any help here? I'm loading like random levels with no luck.

skittlebizI'm with TheBoxyBear a well. I'm a decent chess player too. And I see no trouble with moving up to the queen. (Cannot take the rook as another option, as king would be in danger from blue knight)

KillingJammerThat is most definitely not a check mate. Red king can move toward red queen and be safe.

Juggernaut WZRDits check/checkmate because the king goes up then the rook goes to where the king was then hes checkmated because he would be followed endlessly. king moves right the rook goes right. its a standoff red would have to call it

DemonBulletsThe guide says checkmate but the game does not. Red resigns as it would only take a few moves for checkmate anyway.

BeardyOldManDef not checkmate. Juggernaut WZRD suggested it would be perpetual moves between King and Rook, but if Rook were to move up from B8 to B7, King or Queen takes Rook to move out of check.

I’d like to see how this would play out!

christiangamer1If I remember the position of the pieces correctly, the red King has one move. They can move toward the red queen, but then they are trapped. They cannot move back down or away from the knight because of the rook. They cannot take the knight because of the blue queen. One move is all they have left. Blue can simply move a pawn and it's checkmate.
