How to unlock the Decorated Soldier achievement

    Actions
    First purchase Paduk for 1000 coins (you should have enough coins cos they converted pretty much everything to coins) I say Paduk cos he’s the only character specific to achievements this update

    Plug in a second controller and sign in
    Load up a private gridiron match (versus>custom>LAN>host)
    Turn off bots
    Now just grab the flag and run to the game endzone or kill the dummy till the match is finished and cheevo

    EDIT: looks like Paduk now costs 2000

    MadMosh666I'm going mental. I go to ...LAN/host but only the primary controller does anything. The second one is switched on and signed in (as another profile on the Xbox, though I've also tried as Guest) but I can't get this second player to register at all. My primary controller/profile appears in Team 1 Slot 1, but all the other slots are Open (or Locked if I change them). The second controller is completely unresponsive. How do I add the second player to the game?

    KashThePriestYou need the second controller to join when you’re in the main menu before creating the lobby. Once you create a lobby second controller can’t join. So hit the start button or whatever it’s called on X1 (the one with the three horizontal lines) whilst in the main menu then create the lobby

    UraMallasJust wanted to point out that if you like locust you can be Karn or the locust grenadier for this achievement. Purchasable in shop.

    Actions
    This achievement is quite simple and can be unlocked by going to Versus->Custom->LAN Game. Once here you can hit Host Game to create a lobby. Once here choose the Gridiron game mode. Next, go over to the enemy team slots and lock each slot.

    Next up you have to have a character from Operation 4 unlocked. The characters needed are:

    Heroes
    Dominic Santiago
    Garron Paduk
    Jinn-bot
    UIR Soldier

    Villains
    Zamil Karn
    Locust Grenadier

    With one of those characters chosen go ahead and start the match. You should now win each round as soon as it starts. Once you have hit the point limit you will win the game and unlock the achievement.

    As a side note, I also unlocked the Shutout achievement while doing this.

    Lan wasn't launching for me, so instead I did an online match and set it to private and locked the other slots. Worked like a charm.
