You're Hopeless achievement in Cooking Simulator

- Enter Sandbox
- Grab any meat from fridge
- Place meat on griddle to right of fridge
- Turn on griddle
- Leave on there for about 2~ mins and it will burn

I've tried sandbox and career. Burning everything, blowing up the whole damn kitchen. Nothing. They must of screwed it up with an update or something.

I've messaged the devs on their website about this and the other broken achievements. I guess I'll see if they respond. I'm guessing the more people that contact them the better the chances of getting a fix. Especially since they are working on Cooking Simulator 2 now I think.

I've messaged them a couple of times through Twitter too and never had a response to my tweet or DM's. Been broken for ~7 months now (since November 2022)

I've tried getting their attention via their discord channel yet again today but despite a few people reporting on this achievement being broken, i've never once seen anyone acknowledge the bug report. Very infuriating being ignored by them at this point

According to a dev on their discord server, they've been busy with Cooking Sim 2 but are aware of issues with CS1 on console and have said to please be patient etc. Below are quotes from said dev:

"We see what you guys report even if we don't respond 😉 For the past months we had almost all hands on deck working on the CS2 Demo. AFAIK we have one of our programmers working on the consoles right now(for CS1). We have much more limited resources than we had before so please be patient"

"We are mindful of consoles and have collected all the problems that occur with them, we are constantly working at work to ensure that they do not occur. Please have a little more patience and you will be pleasantly surprised"

And then after someone prompted for a timeframe, they said:

"I can't give such information at this point as exact dates, all I can say is that changes on consoles will occur and I would ask you to be patient for a while yet"

"As soon as we can, there will be an update, unfortunately it does not depend only on me, but on many other things. I hope I at least calmed the situation a little"

It seems that JadedGamer unlocked this achievement last month. It was probably by nefarious means though, since it looks like they're not tracked.

Hopefully there is an update before it leaves gamepass, I'm quite sure it will be rotated out soon.

I doubt they’ll fix it after so long tbh. Especially with a sequel coming out.

Two recent unlocks showing up (8th & 12th January) and both look more legit than others with time stamps, not all achievements unlocked at the same time etc.

I've messaged both gamers to ask if they remember unlocking it and how so but understand that if they don't realise the significance of the achievement then it probably isn't something they remember
