KillrNutJust wanted to add some extra stuff. The Single engine cessna, which is the plane the game starts you out with, does not have autopilot. Once you switch to another plane and press Y while flying, you'll hear a ding, indicating autopilot is turned on. Just make sure your trim is set to +0 and you're on cruise control. smile

FightingMegaFooI tried to Google which planes do and don't have autopilot, but can't find anything. The Daher TBM 930 doesn't have autopilot either. Looks like we have to figure out which planes have autopilot the hard way.

You'll probably complete this achievement as part of your normal playthrough, in my case i did it while flying the "Fire and Ice" bush trip around Patagonia, it's pretty easy since you just have to enable the AP after taking off and just enjoy the view until it's time for landing.

If you don't know how to use the AP the basics are: click the AP button, click the NAV button and you should be set, you can adjust your altitude manually or by turning the ALT knob and then clicking the VS button.

MAST3R SHAKE04Does using the AI co-pilot count as autopilot? Because I still can't figure out how to use autopilot, I hit alt-z, which is what my bindings say should turn it on but nothing happens. But I still have progress for this achievement so I thought maybe the co-pilot counted?

JappeI doubt the co-pilot counts as I have done more than 5000 miles of flying with the co-pilot and my progress is at 87% for this.

DoctorFoxBoyI can confirm that the game will only count genuine autopilot and will not count ai control.
