How to unlock the Oops achievement

Make a save right before attempting this to save yourself the trouble of healing your teammate.

Set the difficulty to "Supreme Jerk" and turn on Friendly Fire in the options. Then enter Attack Mode and select one of your squad members and shoot until they're downed. Then feel free to reload your save and set the settings back to normal.

You can actually earn this in the first combat section and earn this achievement along with "No Show" for never making it to Colorado. Since you're required to lose the battle anyway for that achievement, if you shot one of your characters with the cannon, it will pop this achievement. Then just let the CPU kill your other team member, and both achievements are done.

Also you can kill a teammate with explosives even if friendly fire is off.

I hit my character on Normal today with a heavy machine gun while trying to shoot past him. I didn’t think the settings allowed for that but apparently they do at least for some stuff besides explosives.

@Tyman, yes, even with friendly fire turned off, the occasional miss can still hit a nearby team mate (or other enemy). This can also happen to the enemy on their turn.

Enviroment hazard, like spinning carousel in Warrens (Bizarre) can down squad member and unlock this, without combat or friendly fire activate.
