Acquirement Conditions: "Activate Rampage 2."

Rampage 2 is basically entering rampage mode through the last hit of a cool combo. Rampage 2 your character will look even more Demonic and you will do way more damage than in just regular rampage. Executing cool combos seems to be kind of tricky for some people, especially timing the last hit just as your "Splatter Gauge" fills to the top.

First to even do a full "Cool Combo" you have to have your "Skill" stat maxed all the way for either Aya or Saki (Annna doesn’t have cool combos.) Then, you can go out and find a boss, or a large group of enemies and begin timing your slash attacks (x button) to execute the combo. Basically you want to watch your character and push the x button again at the very moment (maybe a split second before) your attack strikes the enemy you are targeting. You will know you are successful because you will keep up a swift pace of attack with each successive slash as well a large white X slash will explode from your enemy with each slash in the successful cool combo. If these stop, you know you have failed the combo. You will also not be able to execute the final move of the cool combo if you have failed either.

Even if you don’t have your skill stat maxed you can still use the beginnings of the cool combos but you cannot complete the full combo and the final strike is what is needed to activate Rampage 2.

Now it is a matter of just timing your cool combo to end exactly when your Splatter Gauge fills to the maximum and you enter rampage mode.

For many of you this will prove very difficult so there is a way around this. Next you will need to obtain a bracelet, specifically the. “Splatter Control Bracelet”

You obtain this bracelet in Mission 4, check your map and head to the area named “Underground Parking.” Clear out the enemies here and wander around until you find the “Blood Mist Zombie” (big walking cloud of red blood mist) it will pop out of the ground when you walk over it. This is a unique enemy that will only die if you hit it with a large enough portion of your “Cool Combo” Any other attack will restore its health completely and since your first attack in a cool combo counts as a regular hit you basically have to kill it in one combo. Also allowing your sword to become fully bloody isn’t a problem, your sword will not get stuck in the creature and swinging your sword slower can actually make it easier to pull off the combo.

Once you kill this creature (takes 8 consecutive cool combo attacks) you will be warped to a blood filled arena where you must kill some enemies and avoid different traps, once you have killed all the remaining enemies the bracelet will spawn as a white shining light somewhere in all the blood and once you pick it up you will be warped back to the level. I am not sure if you must finish the level or not to keep the bracelet so finish it to be safe.

Now you must level up the bracelet to Level 3, since these accessories actually have different power levels. At power level 3 this bracelet stops your “splatter Gauge” from increasing. So pick a level you like to level up on and as the level begins push the Back button to access the item menu and left or right to switch to your bracelet menu and equip the splatter control bracelet. Now go around killing and collecting yellow orbs until the bracelet levels up to level 3. It doesn’t matter if you are already level 100 the bracelet will still level up eventually.

Once you have your bracelet leveled up, use Free Mission mode and go into Mission 9 select Saki and whoever else and fight your way to the area in the mission titled “Station Square.” Then summon the Blood Mist zombie there who is located on the western part of the map. You may have to kill some random zombies, who would interrupt your combo or get in the way. It is also best to do this on easy mode as well incase you mess up a lot, you don’t want to take too much damage, plus makes getting there faster.

(I chose Saki for the video since I think her combo is probably the easiest to pull off, if you would rather use Aya her single sword cool combo can be used on mission 9 but if you are most comfortable with her two sword combo you will want to fight the blood mist zombie on mission 18 since it would kill the blood mist zombie on mission 9 half way through the combo. The mission 18 blood mist zombie is in the area titled “Command Center”)

Once you have summoned the blood mist zombie, continue to attack it until your splatter gauge is one hit away from being completely full (the gauge is the portrait of your character that becomes progressively redder as you near closer to rampage, it will be full and pulsing slowly when it is one hit away from being completely full and activating a rampage. One it is full equip your level 3 “Splatter control bracelet” you can now attack it as much as you want and you will never go into rampage mode.

Use this time to now perfect your cool combo until you are comfortable doing it, once you are comfortable then just before the last hit of the combo (for Saki she will jump high into the air and give you plenty of time to prepare for the final hit.) Access the item menu and unequip the bracelet (just push A on it again if you have no other bracelets) and the final hit of the cool combo will count and add to your splatter gauge, thus putting you into Rampage 2 mode.

At that very moment it will then give you the little quest step completed notification at the start of the screen and you can then quit the level and start it over again 2 more times for the achievement. This did not appear on my screen because once I filmed the video I had already completed the quests and the achievement.
