I have to admit that I was really struggling to get this achievement. If you have no problem, great!
For everybody who's having trouble like me, maybe try this:
5 mins quarters, Rookie difficulty, activate some boosts, especially if your player is as low-skilled as mine, cause I'm not spending any money on VC.
Then get yourself some points, force the ball a lot, don't let your teammates score whenever possible.
But most importantly: Once you are subbed out , DON'T sim the game till your back in action! It always happened to me that my team went on a scoring rampage and made like 50 points in 2-3 minutes. You won't be able to compensate that. Watch how the CPU performs against the CPU, they won't score many points on either side.
Also, playing against a weak team helps, I personally made it against the Kings.
It doesn't matter if you win the game, so focus only on scoring and be as selfish as possible. Let your teammates block the opposing players to get yourself some more room. And always keep an eye on the scoreboard
It took me numerous tries and eventually I made it. But yeah, maybe it was just me not being good enough...
