    -----

There is not possible to pause Pop Quiz, so you may not have the time to find the movies on this list. If not you just read through this list or the one on imdb (http://www.imdb.com/Sections/Awards/Academy_Awards_USA/ - some find it easier if the title can be connected to a year or other nominees) so you can remember a few.

Pop Quiz do always appear as the last segment in round 2 in a short game with only DLC enabled.

KinectKid333I don't think ParagonOfPury's comment about playing with multiple players is accurate. I tried playing with three controllers. After three Best Picture rounds I should have been at 86/90 correct answers, but the achievement didn't unlock. I also think if playing with multiple controllers was a viable strategy, there'd probably be more people talking about it / it probably would have been discovered sooner. Also, other players' progress doesn't count for any other achievement in this game, so why would this one be any different? Anyway, I'm 28/30 after around only three hours of grinding. I feel like that's pretty quick based on other people's experiences here. Hopefully the last four rounds that I need come just as quickly as the first three.

And holy hell, are the repeat questions frequent in DLC only games. I've already seen There's Something About Mary, Being John Malkovich and The Ten Commandments twice, seen Forrest Gump, The Last King of Scotland, and Aliens three times, and seen Elizabeth four times. And I'm probably forgetting a few more repeats. Multiple times across different categories I've gotten the same exact question twice in a row (in the same round!). It feels like most categories have a DLC question pool in the single digits or very low double digits. Sheeeeesh. Very bad design decision to allow players to play DLC only games when the DLC question pools are this small. Otherwise, the DLC is not bad.

ThreeKingdomsRTruly an awful achievement, but this list makes it manageable. If I NEVER see Cate Blanchett and Richard Attenborough again, it'll be too soon...

PernubThe game is great and straight forward with the achievements until this one. You have to get extremely lucky to get asked Oscar best picture winning movie questions. I spent the last 2 days and only got the question asked twice. It’s such a shame for me it’s gone from a 4.5-5 star rating to a 3 due to this one achievement.

This one achievement can take you anywhere between 15 hours to 60 hours just due to getting lucky. I’ve been extremely unlucky and will hit the 60 hour mark.

For those of you who have a turbo controller, if you start up a short game and turbo A and right on the d-pad, the game plays itself. Eventually, this will net you the achievement (as long as you've downloaded the DLC), and you won't even have to play!

If you are going to leave a negative vote, please state why so that I may improve my solution for future readers.

gbischelLong overdue response, but I had rubberbands over both the A button and right trigger with them set to turbo. The controller is wired, which is better so it doesn't turn off when you leave it to do its thing all night long :-)

brooza664I've got a guitar plugged into an arcade stick with tape on the buttons and it seems to be working well. Great tip!

Great solution posted above, but I would add 3 things to it:

    1) if you get this DLC, from the START I would recommend focusing on this achievement at the expense of all others. By that I mean playing short games with DLC enabled and quitting after the pop quiz at the end of the 2nd round. All the other achievements in this DLC are a piece of cake, but I personally have been very unlucky in getting the Best Picture to come up and wish I had been playing 2 round games from the beginning to expedite the process.

    2) you don't need to play games with only DLC enabled, as stated above, You can choose to play with an on-disc/DLC mix or just DLC; it's up to you, because Pop Quiz will come at the end of round 2 regardless. Just make sure the games are short.

    3) I would recommend the list at this forum (I take no credit for it), simply because the spacing between the movies listed is smaller and it takes incrementally less time to scroll through than the list above. The extra milliseconds may make a difference in getting this thing knocked out.
