    Mafia Definitive Edition has a total of 172 collectibles - 50 Mystery Foxes, 22 Cigarette Cards, 20 Dime Detectives, 20 Black Masks, 20 Super Science Stories, 20 Terror Tales, 10 Gangsters Monthly, 5 Post Cards and 5 Hidden Cars

    You need all of them for various achievements. Fortunately, none of them can be missed. There are two types of collectibles, story and free roam collectibles. Story collectibles only spawn and collectable during the story.

    These collectibles can you pick up every time via chapter select. All collectibles are immediately saved. Free roam collectibles are of course available in Free roam which is called Free Ride and in the story too! This mode unlock after chapter 2 or 3.

    In the story you can also find a lot of available free roam collectibles close to the story. If you follow my story video, you will have collected 81 of the 172 collectibles at the end. The remaining 91 collectibles are in the seperate free roam video guide.

    FightingMegaFooFound the solution on one of the guides specific to just finding all the Mystery Foxes. If the crates aren't there, go to Salieri's Bar (where you spawn when loading Free Ride mode), and change the weather at the painting in the upstairs office.

    Benodarks47here for me it did not pop, what I did to solve it was the following, I deleted the saved data from the game and then I logged into the game again. Avoid the Quick Resume.

    Hi everyone,

    In order to get this achievement you'll need to have collected the following:

    Dime Detective Magazines
    Black Mask Magazines
    Super Science Stories Magazines
    Terror Tales Magazines
    Gangsters Monthly Comics
    Cigarette Cards
    Hidden Cars
    Mystery Foxes

    However when I collected my first mystery fox I got the Collection achievement despite not collecting all the Mystery Foxes. I'm not sure if that was intentional.

    So to be safe I would just collect everything that you need to do anyway. If you prefer an online map click on the collectibles above to maps created by PowerPyx.

    Below are notes detailing all the collectibles, they have been split into their own corresponding category. I've surrounded them with spoiler tags as there's loads of collectibles and it wouldn't be reading friendly.

    Throughout the Story of Mafia, there are 172 collectibles. Most of these collectibles can be obtained during Free Roam, however, there are certain collectibles which are missable during story chapters.

    To unlock this achievement you to have found all of the following:
    - 20 Dime Detective (Pulp Magazine- help unlocks Lending Library achievement)
    - 20 Black Masks (Pulp Magazine - help unlocks Lending Library achievement)
    - 20 Super Science Stories (Pulp Magazine - help unlocks Lending Library achievement)
    - 20 Terror Tales (Pulp Magazine - help unlocks Lending Library achievement)
    - 10 Gangster Monthly (Picture Book Connoisseur achievement)
    - 22 Cigarette Cards (Full Set achievement)
    - 5 Post Cards (Car Thief Number 1 achievement)

    Dale BaldwinChapter replay is available once you've finished the story, for the collectibles that are only in story missions. All the others are in free ride. To save time, you might want to plan getting the story collectibles as you go through, but you don't have to.

    Bully of SmegYou DON’T need the foxes for this achievement, proven by the fact that more people have won this achievement than the one for collecting foxes.
