    Out of all 14 missions, there are a total of 70 medals to be earned, 5 per mission.
    One Medal each (Mission Complete) will be awarded for completion of the mission alone, one each (Enduring Service Medal) for completing missions without dying, and one each (Efficiency Medal) for completing missions within a certain time limit. The other two medals are mostly connected to optional objectives.

    You can earn medals across various playthroughs, so you don’t have to earn all medals in a single session.

    Restarting a checkpoint will void the Enduring Service Medal even if you didn't die - I strongly recommend to go for the Story Mode difficulty to also make the time-based medals a breeze.
    In certain missions, some medals will give you additional achievements as well.

    derechtegraf1Yes, this seems to be a known bug according to EA. Happens on Steam too. Hope they are working on a patch...

    XDragon2688My suggestion, play the campaign and only the campaign for this. Don't go into MP or anything... i did it over 3 days on the easiest setting

    SilentBottsMedals are specific to difficulty. If you beat it on Ace you'll have gold medals, story difficulty awards bronze.

    darthmarticusI cannot destroy the frigate turrets on mission 8. This is the only medal I can't do. Frustrating as hell. the team always destroys the frigate before I can take them all out.

    derechtegraf1The frigate turrets were probably the most annoying for me too. I think I finally beat it by choosing the Y-Wing for the mission with some extra health upgrades. Key was to learn where the turrets are, as they are not shown in the target selection. After that I made sure to boost as fast a possible to the place where the frigate would show up so to make sure to be first. It might also help to give your wing mates the order to “protect” something (like one of your wing mates themselves). Not sure if that has an effect, but it shouldn’t hurt.

    darthmarticusNevermind, for some reason my game was bugging out and not showing any objectives. I got all the turrets multiple times and nothing. Restarted the game and it worked first time.

    ChuppernicusHave they patched the medal bug yet?

    I like playing multiplayer from time to time and I don't want to restart the medals and not play multiplayer in between. I guess I could test in on the 1st level. There have been many patches. Never see exact details on this fix.

    derechtegraf1Yes, it was fixed in one of the first patches. Can’t remember the exact date, but I read about it in some patch notes.

    gazhibsSo I know you've said you don't have to earn them all in one go but us that true even if they're not showing up on the mission select page?

    derechtegraf1They need to show up in the mission select page - if they are not showing, you probably have not earned them yet (or reset the progress).
