There are no shortcuts or easy ways to get this one (can’t plug in a keyboard and skilfully press F).

I attempted this as the very last thing in the game, by then you’d have played the levels many times (some with polar bears more than others) and will know most of them off by heart.

You’ll need to be well versed in either the slide spin (forward B then X) when you’re on the ground and the triple spin (X, X, X) when you’re in the air or traversing narrow environments with nitro etc. I mostly used the slide spin and didn’t bother much with the triple spin until it was required in the later levels such as Nitro Processing.

Some good advice is to watch a run through of the level before you attempt it (PowerPyx has a video of every level up, you’ll notice some good shortcuts and the best route to take generally) and then you’ll gradually build muscle memory the more times you attempt it. It’s also good to know when to save masks for invincibility and when to sacrifice them to save time. This is much better than going in blind and I only got a gold instead of an instant platinum on my first run four times doing this.

I ended up turning the time trial ghost off as it made me play worse when I was behind it but this will give you insight into the run they used so you can also leave it on and see which sections you do better in and where you fall behind to try to copy it.

Cortex is the hardest secondary character to play speedily and his levels annoyed me the most (his gun never fires where you want in a rush).

Overall I found this easier than the N.Sanely Perfect medals due to the larger amount of masks in the levels and the annoyance of restarting is much lower overall. It’s not easy but once you have the spinning methods to gain speed and routes down you’ll be able to get platinums easily and the times are more forgiving than the N.Sane Trilogy overall.

LaB1Honestly, I don't own the game yet and can't say for sure, but from what I can tell watching runs of the platinum relics is that platinum in crash for is about on par with gold in the remastered trilogy. I watch people making numerous errors and still get plat. Looking forward to getting this game!

Legacy I Tom II agree with LaB1, on several runs I accidentally body slammed and still made it. There is definitely room to make mistakes within the time constraints.

Tucky90@ Legacy, Sorry but I've seen some of your times #1 leaderboard and developer times, only really proves my point that this achievement is aimed at the top 1% in terms of skill level.
