EDIT: Due to some instances of the Mini Cooper flipping over, I have published the same track with the Subaru Impreza. The car is slightly slower, but its larger size keeps it planted on the dirt. You can find it as "True Achievements 10k 2".

I have created a Playground to aid with this grueling achievement. Good news, the achievement can be grinded by simply using a wrench or rubber band (or other household item) to wedge your cn_RT down, and the car will rack up miles by itself. Just make sure to have the controller plugged in so it doesn't turn off.

The track is called "True Achievements 10k". Go to PLAYGROUND, then DISCOVER, then hit cn_RB to SEARCH. Type in the name, select the track, and then drive off the starting platform into the narrow corridor below. The walls do all the work. No steering required.

    Some caveats:

    - A session only lasts for 60 minutes. Right now, there seems to be no way around this.
    - Mileage tracks without finishing the race (i.e., you don't have to go through the FINISH platform.) Driving until the 60 minutes run out is fine.
    - Achievement progress only updates after the session is over.
    - Testing your own playground does provide infinite time, but mileage doesn't seem to track. It has to be a race/event session.

The track requires the Mini Cooper RX car, but it is the fastest. The car will slow down to 50-60 mph in the corners, then accelerate to 110-115 mph down the straights, giving you an average of 80-85 mph. Using some simple math, this achievement will require about 125 hours of idle driving (and 125 restarts) if starting from scratch. It is recommended that you save this achievement until last, although completing the career only provides 4-5% progress.

Umm is this broken or just a crazy achievement?

Have competed over half the level achievement, currently level 25 and like 20% of the total career races yet this achievement is at 1%

    That’s crazy!

HomelyBumRocketI had a similar idea, but you can't rotate the objects in any direction except around the vertical axis, and it doesn't allow objects to pass through each other. I tried making a sideways loop with 4 curved retaining walls, but there are tiny gaps between each one that ruin any speed.

I'm playing in the base game. Not sure if the Amplified edition has better objects. And maybe more will come out with DLC.

FireWheels58Amplified edition has its own objects but they're just existing objects with a special livery on them, so not missing much there.

FireWheels58I'm in the dirt 5 discord and the achievement will get updated in the next patch to bring it down from 10k to 1k miles
