- Plug in phone jack (left of fireplace)
- Go right and up into the next room (not upstairs) and look at the professor before returning to the starting room
- Answer phone
- Go right and up into the next room (not upstairs)
- Ring the bell in the upper right
- Pick up the fan from the couch
- Return to the starting room and use the fan on the embers in the fireplace
- Answer the door
- Return to the study and talk to the professor
- Examine desk and look at the violet book and pick up key
- Return to front door and use the key
Achievement should unlock as the screen faces to black after the cutscene and conversations end.
