UPDATE: It has been confirmed that purchasing the Bubblegum & Bullets skin will unlock the glitched achievement

Simply recruit any character that has a gun of any type(except for unique weapons) go to the Team section, press A on the character, go up on the gun, and press Y. buy any skin and the achievement is yours.

Since this achievement has been reported to be glitchy now by some people, LiquiDelta said:

The raised case suggests that it may unlock with the Bubblegum & Bullets skin (I have not bought this to verify it yet, as I've already spent money on three other skins, and need to save up for the 100K for clothing - I'll eventually buy it if it's not patched before I finish).

Do a clear cache on your console through Settings - network settings - advanced settings - alternate MAC address - clear - restart and hopefully that'll fix achievement glitches. altough make sure you unpause the game after you purchase the skin. it's known to unlock after unpausing.

It unlocked for me with the Bubblegum & Bullets which was the third skin i bought, i wasn't keen to waste any more money because i'm also saving up for the 100 grand worth of clothes but that was the skin the guy bought in a video showing it unlocking so i thought i'd give that one last go, and fortunately it worked

Had to be the bubble gun and bullets skin for me too, don't waste money on anything else.

FYI it unlocked for me after downloading the latest patch and booting the game. So looks like they fixed it.
