How to unlock the A Great Explorer achievement

    This achievement is bugged for some people. To be safe, make sure you obtain all the 600 pup treats and 3 badges in one go. If you miss any treat and come back to complete it later, it may or may not unlock the achievement.

    This is for main mission number 5 “Save Carlos”. There are four points of no return.
    - You should get 176 treats when you reach the first blockage. This is where you play minigame to cut the vines and enter vegetation area.
    - You should get 392 treats before you do the minigame to repair the 2nd broken bridge.
    - You should get 511 treats before entering the ruins/maze.
    - You should get 585 treats before cutting the final vine blockage and enter final rescue area.

    For badges, if you can find all pup treats, you should have no problem finding the three badges. If you pass point of no returns and realize you miss some treat, press the Xbox guide and force close the game.

    For anyone already experienced the glitch (got all other achievement except this one), the only way to get it is to start from scratch. Go to "manage game" and delete its save from "everywhere". It takes approximately half an hour to quickly run through stage 1 to 4. And it take another half an hour to thoroughly go through stage 5.

    skittlebizI may have the glitch because I can't pop this with all three badges and all 600 pup treats. Even after I play again and finish the level (without B-skipping the final scene) it doesn't pop. But I also know that the first time after I collected everything, I hit start and exited to the hub so that I could skip out of the rest of the level. But I guess this may have triggered the glitch because I didn't see through to the end of the level. But even now replaying doesn't help anything, so I thought that was weird that the game doesn't catch my completion. But I learned not to exit out from now on playing forward. So that's a good tip to keep in mind!

    Goathic85I can confirm that you need to finish level when you collect everything. if you leave the game before even if you have everything collected you will have to delete save and start over like me to get achievement.

    Gamer0364I had a similar problem when playing via xCloud on my phone. Downloaded the game to my Series S and launched it and the achievement immediately popped. May be worth trying for others having similar issues.

    This level contains 600 pup treats and 3 collectables.

    Pup treats and collectables are scattered all throughout the levels. Pup treats are found either by themselves worth 1 pup treat, in a bag worth 3 pup treats, or by interacting with certain obstacles in the level by pressing cn_Y with the appropriate character.

    Collectables are shield icons with the Paw Patrol logo (which is just a paw print.)

    Pup treats and collectables are difficult to miss as the game is fairly linear. If you do happen to miss a pup treat or collectable, you can replay the level to locate the treats you had missed. Previously discovered treats will be highlighted blue to differentiate from non-discovered pup treats.

    EthznsI had a similar problem to the others with this achievement where I finished the mission with less than 600 pup treats (595/600). I was sure that I had found all of them.

    Alongside using a guide, I replayed the mission and found that I had actually missed five pup treats in separate locations around the map. On my second playthrough I made sure to collect every pup treat INCLUDING the ghosted ones. When I had finished the level with all pup treats the achievement unlocked.

    So my advice for those who did not manage to find all 600 pup treats on their first playthrough is to replay the mission collecting every ghosted/non-ghosted pup treat before deleting your saves. It might end up saving you more time!

    I Like DrinkinI use short games like this for the Achieve More, Earn More reward points, getting one ach per day, so I have a question.

    Supposing I play the game, getting all the other achievements before doing collectibles. I delete all traces of a save, collect everything in the first stage, pop the ach, then quit for the day. Would I then need to delete all saves again the next day, rush the first stage, and collect everything in stage 2/3 etc? Or is simply not syncing enough to go at a smooth pace, popping one ach per day?
