Agree with Yu to destroy the flow bridge when prompted and follow the path to sever the bridges ties.   After credits, do you load from previous point or is it just over? Wanting to fight the whale still. Am I able to still roam around after beating game?

  Unfortunately the game ends there and the autosave is after the point of no return so make sure to copy your save in the main menu prior to flying the ship!

  Game now makes a backup save prior to leaving in the Nest, so these shouldnt be missable anymore unless you intentionally (or somehow accidentally) delete the backup it creates for you.
