  A back to back is when you follow a tetris (clearing four rows at once) with another tetris. An easy way to get this is to go to Effects Mode and play All Clear. In this mode you try to clear the entire screen in a limited number of drops. The rotation of puzzles seems to be random but you will get plenty of setups that have multiple back to backs. It should come naturally while playing. It took me maybe 30 mins, each round lasts about 1 minute.

  It's worth to note that you don't need to clear rows consecutively, you just need to keep clearing 4 every time you clear rows.
  
  1. Drop and organize tetriminos until you can clear 4 rows in one go
  2. Clear 4 rows in one go
  3. Drop and organize again
  4. Clear 4 rows in one go again.
  
  It's actually a good way to rack up points, so you need to learn this if you want to go for S/SS ranks.
