I got this in act 1. The conveyerbelt area in Tockington was difficult to navigate. But if you're in a hurry, to can easily get this achievement in Tockington or the open sea. You can also get it through natural gameplay.
If you press
, click on Misc., and then Info, you can view how many monsters you've defeated on the right side of the screen.
