60 8 27*Highly Missable* *** Spoiler - click to reveal ***The mission you need to be aware of is 'Search and Destory'Close to the end of the mission and after the meeting. Arasaka invade Takemuras' hideout. Jonny informs you that there's no point in helping Takemura as he's likely dead, the objective also sends you straight out of the apartment building.Ignore these warnings, once you've got control back, enter the room opposite where you start and look for a hole in the wall on your left. At the back of the apartment is some steps. Go up these, kill the Arasaka agents to save Takemura. Makes sure you now leave with him in tow. You can now complete the game as normal up until you hit the mission Nocturne Op55N1. Carry on through this until you reach the roof and have to make a decision. Choose "Think trusting Arasaka’s risky but worth it"Next choose "Take some Omega Blockers". This will now force you on a linear path that will guarantee you'll unlock it.The achievement will unlock when you take the lift/elevator after finding Yorinobu. (Which means you don't even have to complete the game or get an ending).I've added a helpful video from PowerPyx for those that prefer a visual guide. Showing most recent comments. View all comments. There's something I'm missing here. Everywhere I read says there are only 3 things you need to do, then this ending becomes unmissable. Save Takemura, then pick the two dialog choices. I did this, and never even came across anymore scenes with Takemura in them. There is obviously something more than just those 3 steps...EDIT: On second attempt, I see where I went wrong, there's a 3rd required dialog. You have to call arusaka and accept the offer. May seem obvious, but if you're only half paying attention to the story, not so much.Posted by Skridger on 15 Jan at 23:20 What kind of person only half pays attention to the story?Posted by Sneaky G Wizard on 21 Jan at 00:46 I paid half attention to this broken mess of a story when only half of it works.Posted by THEpaynexkiller on 31 Jan at 20:24 Worked fine for me... I'm playing on the Series X though, so maybe that's whyPosted by Sneaky G Wizard on 31 Jan at 20:32 Sorry, I just wanted to say this worked fine for me as well. Just that I wasn't overly paying attention to the story. Thank you for posting this guide!Posted by THEpaynexkiller on 31 Jan at 21:09 Thank God I didn't have to do that last part of the mission, it takes foreeeeever lol. Did it once in the PC, wasn't looking foward to do it again.Posted by BadCopKenziCop on 04 Feb at 21:50 This is the last missing achievement for me. Unfortunately I don’t have save before that. How long does it take to get there from the very beginning?Posted by Stachuuu87 on 18 Feb at 13:22 12 hours give or take on my 2nd playthrough, still taking it at a slow pace too. Game can be completed in 6-8 hours if you rushPosted by Splinunz on 18 Feb at 14:18 Not sure if there is any chance of completing the game in 6-8 hours. I just finished the game once again to get this last achievement. Done only main story quests, rushing as much as possible, skipping almost all dialogues and it took me 11 hours.Posted by Stachuuu87 on 21 Feb at 01:57 It certainly can be. Depend which setups you have. You can hack and slash rather than run and gun which saves a tonne of time. Current world record is less than 3 hours. Still, I’d much rather enjoy the game and take just that bit longer.Posted by Splinunz on 21 Feb at 03:31 Leave a comment
