    Seeing as how I just spent hours trying to get Dante to spawn before digging through some comments on a few achievements I'm going to make this a new guide for this achievement.

    Join the community challenge using the code: JoinsEnjoyThink (Note, it is set to Covenant 25)

    On ring 3, there will be a cavern at the crossroad. Go into it and accept the 3 items from the figure.
    On ring 5, you'll see Dante meet up with you and you'll give the items back and the achievement should pop.

    The RNG is rough on this one so that code should help a lot. This was my last achievement on this game.

    Dante the Deceptive is encountered in a Concealed Caverns event. Notably, you can only run into him after you've completed (not win) at least seven runs, and the last time you can run into him is on the fourth ring, as the event won't happen any further along. In the event, a mysterious figure tries to shove three Blight cards on you. Accept the "gift" and continue.

    Two battles later, Dante will automatically reappear and offer to join you. You will receive Dante's Cloak (+2 Magic Power per Blight card), Dante the Deceptive (gain Multistrike per Blight card) and the achievement. I'd recommend prioritizing a stop at a Merchant of Steel to give him some more attack and turn him into a strong backliner.

    GeoffistophelesFor completing runs, you have to complete a full round, either winning against Seraph or losing and reaching the game over screen. Dante cannot show up as a random event until you've done seven playthroughs, win or lose.

    Each area of the game is referred to as a Ring. You start the game in Limbo, or the first ring. Completing the battle moves you into the second ring, The Cliffs of Fallen Souls, where you choose between shops and unit drafts. Dante can only be found in a specific Concealed Caverns event, but his event can only trigger in the third or fourth ring.

    In short, if you have beaten the first boss, either Daedalus or Talos, and you have not run into Dante, then you won't find him on that run.

    ShazamFTWBig note: The challenge that is posted to defeat The melting has Dante ready to go. Play that and take his blights and should trigger.
