There are 8 cats in total. For most of them, you will need to solve a puzzle first before you can see them. I found this guide to be really helpful.

The achievement will unlock after you find all 8 cats, visit the shrine, and put on the cat ears. For me, it popped about 5 minutes later I left the shrine.

The hardest cat to get by far is Cat 6, the one in the Warehouse elevator. Some tips:

- You must use melee to hit the hiss clusters. Using your gun won't work.
- You need to clear all 4 in one journey, they will reset once you reach the top or bottom
- You can press the elevator button or use photo mode to pause while you're traveling

Struggled a bit with #6 but pausing elevator several times on way up to line up hiss made it pretty easy

In the elevator, I stayed and in the middle and it was way easier. The first one is on the left side of the button, then the next is on the right side of the button, then continue clockwise.

The one in the elevator is very ez to get, you can stop elevator and just hit hiss. Stop elevator as soon as you red light. It'll stop in a second after you'll push the button but still enough to hit hiss

Maybe they patched something here, but stopping the elevator is not working for me.

Pausing the elevator still works, hold X to get the floor selection menu then B to back out, melee cluster with Y, hold X to re-select floor 6. Can even select floor 5 if you need to go back down a little to hit a cluster.

Yes, pausing the elevator still works between the fifth and sixth floors. In my case, the first two nodes on the way up did not disappear but the last two did. Pop, cat was still waiting for me at the top.
