Wow this Battle sucks so hard. I normally play with the pierce gun but it’s super hard to defeat him with that. In phase two he will try to stomp on the ground to kill the lights and refresh his shield. Don’t let that happen. Get the scatter gun (shotgun) and be super aggressive. Levitate before him, so he cannot grab your ass. And when he talks about darkness and stuff hit him with shield burst oder throw something in his ugly face that pushes him out of balance and he will not regenerate his shield. Than do full power with the scatter and he should die easy.

ElJalapeno x2 shots with pierce was enough for me to interrupt him downing the lights. I would launch stuff at him at and shield myself from his attacks until he started his lights out ritual. Then you have enough time to charge and fire pierce twice. Don't miss.

If he does down the lights, ignore the enemies and get them back on ASAP. If you can seize an enemy once you have the lights on, do it. They'll keep him a bit distracted.

Moe GZThis battle was a nightmare, activating the lights while surviving to the boss and the spawned enemies was too much for me. I enabled invincibility (check accessibility in the options) to make it doable.

SoundgoodizerJust finished this one. I try not to enable assist/invincibility mode in games because I really enjoy overcoming difficulty. This boss fight, at least with the build that I have, was legitimately impossible until I enabled it (specifically the energy recovery multiplier). I wasn't even dying, he was just regenerating faster than I could DPS him. I spent about 40 minutes on a single attempt before I just got tired of it. I literally don't understand how anyone thought this final encounter was good enough to ship.

TymanTheLongSpin level two with plain old damage boosts was enough to interrupt him. I saved my energy for dash and used obstacles over shield. I sometimes threw a single object while my gun recharged, but focused on movement and just unloaded my Spin whenever it was up.

e4chingot tired of him always knocking some batteries out so i just tuned on one hit kill and was done with it. this whole game felt fairly balanced except for the boss fights, and now this being the last of the DLC's, i guess remedy thought they better force players to use the accessibility options lol

Marcelloz071After 2 hours contantly pumping him with lead and him regenerating all the time I just enabled one-hit-kill to be done with it. After restoring the lights he often stomped them out again after 10 seconds just as I was getting some health stuff. I didn't even touch him yet.

Also if you flight too high and land on a roof somewhere he immediately starts stomping.

    Worst boss fight ever.
