In addition to the great guide by
Drastic Ed xo I want to share some screenshots and a few more information with you. To be able to solve the random number puzzle you have to reach the area Kiryat Temple.
To unlock this area you have to talk with the NPC called Arrowsmith first.
He is located in the "
Bar" inside the building on the right. Talk to him and he will give you a quest:
Now you can change to the new location
Kiryat Temple (top right, screenshot).
Walk to the right and go inside the building. Here you can find the Kiryat priest. Exhausting the dialogue options with him will lead to the quest for repairing the robot (and unlocks the achievement
Kiryats for talking to the Kiryat priest)
My solution for fixing the robot looked like this:
How to solve:
*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Middle voltage = right voltage x 3 - top voltage - bottom voltage (by Drastic Ed xo)
You will see three voltmeters, two of which have random numbers and the middle will be set to 0. On the right you will see a number which is your target voltage, the formula to work out the missing number.
Hold down the button to the left of the middle voltmeter until it you reach the calculate voltage, then press the button on the right to get the achievement.
