Live forever achievement in Cyber Shadow

To get this achievement, you must start a new game and play all the way to the Monkey Shrine without dying. This is found shortly after the Biohunter boss fight. I can confirm you can quit the game if you are near death and restart without voiding the achievement. The hardest part is dodging enemies next to an instant death spot. Be patient and play safe. Clear out all enemies you are able to in safe locations, and if you get to two health bars I would suggest exiting to the main menu and retrying from your last checkpoint. It took me a good amount of attempts, but if you can clear out the enemies away from instant death spots, it's not too bad.

I just wanted to add on to this guide and say if you do happen to die by falling into a pit or something, you can always delete your local save. The steps are as follows if you do die:

Hit the dashboard button

Push the Options button over Cyber Shadow

Go to Save data and Add ons (DO NOT CLOSE THE GAME)

Scroll all the way down to save data

Click on your profile and click delete local only! (Do not delete everywhere or else ALL your save data will be gone)

Then start up the game and you should start up on your last checkpoint with the last death not counting.

What I usually end up doing is closing and starting the game every time I hit a new checkpoint so that local save data will sync to the cloud. That way if you do want to delete your local save at anytime, you will always start at the last checkpoint you were at.

Yeah that delete save trick has helped me before in other games too. Definitely a time saver, even if it's a bit of a hack lol. You still complete the task, no shame in that

I forget which chapter has the first Monkey Shrine. This might help to give an idea how far one has to go without dying before the achievement unlocks.

Looks like end of chapter 3 where you go underwater to reach the wall grab powerup before entering chapter 4. Got it this morning.

Is this like the other achievement where you can go back & try again with full health? You'd still have the instant-death pits, but it might be easier if you can.

EDIT: I tried going from Chapter 1 all the way to Monkey Shrine without dying. It did not pop. I guess it's only available during the first run through.
