How to unlock the Quick on the Draw achievement

    This achievement requires you to get at least 3 kills in 1 life while you are the bounty target, which you can become by getting the first kill in a match of bounty hunter, or getting the killing blow on the current bounty target player (they glow and can be seen through walls).

    I personally found Bastion to be a powerful option in this mode. He's easy to play with self healing for survivability, high damage output, and since most people are playing lower health heroes in this mode, his ult can one-shot.
    Being that you can see bounty targets through walls, he's a strong ambusher since you can plan where to set up turret mode. When you become the target, if possible find an area near the edge of the map to force people to come to you, but never stay in one spot for too long. This tip really applies to any hero though.


    Alternatively, Reaper's ult can get you this instantly if people are grouped and he has some survivability. D.vA's can also do this though not as easily, but she has the 2nd life with the mech. Soldier 76 could be useful in more open maps, and people report that Echo is great for the 2nd life with her ult.
    Keep in mind that ultimate's and health are fully filled when becoming the target, so if you charged it up while not the target, don't be afraid to use it to kill the bounty target as you'll get it back instantly.
    Realistically, you can go for this on any hero you're good at, just remember your goal and play safe.
    The match ends when someone gets to 4000 points.

    HUN playmoreI suggest no matter what hero you play move away from where you killed the bounty as soon as possible. Since everyone moves towards the target chances are you are already surrounded and the others are very close. Breaking out in one direction helps with not fighting everyone else at the same time.

    As the achievement suggests, you need to kill 3 enemies AFTER you have been tagged as the Bounty Hunter. This achievement is part luck and part skill. My suggestion is to know the maps and have a good idea where the health packs are so that you can run to them and replenish your health once you have kills after being tagged as the Bounty Hunter.

    There are several characters which could make this challenge easier. From my personal play style, I would probably be best off getting the achievement with D.VA, Bastion or Reaper. I got this achievement using D.VA as you can see from the video below.


    However, reading from the other solutions, it appears as though Echo and Soldier are also very good picks for this achievement.

    Whatever solution you go for, just enjoy the game and it should come naturally. Good luck to everyone.

    Its not possible to boost this achievement and I'm terrible at Overwatch, but I still managed to get this achievement. Figured I might as well add what I did to get it.

    Requirements (if it wasn't clear): become the bounty target by (duh) killing the current bounty target (or get 1st kill of the game) and get 3 kills w/o dying.

    If you're the sort of bad at Overwatch (like I am) where you hate the game, never play it, and its because you'll notice a D-Va player dominating this mode and you get destroyed almost instantly when you choose to play as D-Va...

    My recommendation is to pick Reaper. If you can manage to become the bounty target as him a few times in a single match, stick with him.


    Tips:

    - Most of the maps that cycle for Bounty Hunter are small and feature tiny cramped spaces (Eichenwald for example)

    - Reaper is very lethal at short range

    - Obviously stick to the tiny cramped spaces whenever possible

    - If you're in danger or about to die, cn_LB

    - once you become bounty target, everyone will know where you are

    - once you become bounty target, you get 100% health and overcharge

    if you're -VERY LUCKY- you can get all 3 kills with 1 Death Blossom

    realistically though:

    I'd frequently get 2 kills overcharge or no, dying before getting the 3rd. I still managed to get the achievement within 1 hour of starting the update by being persistent.

    And I am -not- good at Overwatch
