Smarter, Not Harder achievement in Kill It With Fire

Below is a list of each upgrade, where they can be found and on which level.

First Contact
Protein Shake:
Left side of the TV cabinet.

Close Encounters
S.P.I.D.A.R:
Under the bed in the main bedroom.
Cargo Shorts:
Bottom shelf of secret room that can be found by pulling the book in the study room first.

Domestic Duties
Gel Insoles:
Inside the dryer within the laundry room.
Sigma Module:
Inside the green trash bin within the garage.

Major Inconvenience
Kerosene Soaked Bullets:
In the right portable toilet located in the outside area after going through the blue container.
D-Cells:
In the sewer grate to the right of the exit.

Garden of Evil
Arachnodex:
Behind the Blossom gate door.
Giant Magnet:
Located in the shrine.

Barnstormer
Holster:
In the brown chest by the flower vases to the right when starting the level.
Reflex Sight:
Inside the barn cabinet.

Paper Trail
Laser:
Mens bathroom, next to the right stall.
Flashlight:
Underneath the head of the table in the conference room.

Contingency Omega
***No upgrades to collect***

Down The Spider Hole
Echolocator:
Located on a branch of the tree with the treehouse.
Asbestos Chitin:
Burn the bush next to the small shed, in the corner.
Mower Nos:
On the top of the tree in the front yard, first tree past the breakable fence.

Consequences
Goose Mode:
Inside the partner’s office. This door requires x4 Arachno-Gauntlets.
Nuclear Generator:
Inside the partner’s office. This door requires x4 Arachno-Gauntlets.
Cargo Pants:
In the downstairs office. This door requires x6 Arachno-Gauntlets.
Arachnoscope:
In the downstairs office. This door requires x6 Arachno-Gauntlets.
Tiny Mode:
In the sewer grate behind and to the left of the speakers outside.
Secret Sniffer:
Outside and under the van.

In addition to the above, you will need to find all 7 of the festive ornaments and attach them to the Christmas tree. The ornaments can be found listed below:

1. On the desk on the Exterminator’s office.
2. Behind the door to the exterminator’s office.
3. In the Partner’s room behind the file cabinet.
4. Behind the boxes in the hallway.
5. Hanging from the floodlight outside.
6. On top of the speaker outside.
7. Hanging from exterior letters of the Exterminator’s building.

After collecting the above and attaching them to the Christmas tree, you will unlock the following 3 upgrades/weapons:

Gene Splicer
Low Gravity
Spider Noir

Updated list based on fully updated game plus installed Year of the Spider DLC played on an old gen Xbox One. This is meant to be a comparison list to TuKraZe's list and as such is not meant to be another solution to this achievement.:

First Contact: Flashlight is where the Protein Shake should be. Halloween Mode gives you the Air Horn, it isn't an upgrade but it's worth mentioning. Holidays Mode gives you the Laser Sword as some equipment.

Close Encounters: Nothing changed, both upgrades were in the same spots as the ones listed in the guide. Halloween Mode gives you Australia Mode, it's not an upgrade but worth mentioning. Holidays Mode gives you Spider Noir as a modifier.

Domestic Duties: Gel Insoles is where you have it listed, but Secret Sniffer is where the Sigma Module should be. The final level for Halloween Mode gives you Secret Sniffer Pro which is a Tracker Upgrade. Holidays Mode gives you +10 Upgrade Points.

Down The Spider Hole: Nothing changed here apart from this level becoming level 4, I even managed to get the battery on the roof of the house by exploding the drone near it and then finding where the battery landed. Holidays Mode is unavailable here.

Major Inconvenience: Energy Drink is in the fridge that requires you to kill 3 spiders to open it and this is now level 5, nothing else has changed. Holidays Mode gives you the Lucky Dice Tracker Upgrade.

Garden Of Evil: Apart from this now being level 6, nothing else has changed, both upgrades were in the same spots as the ones listed in the guide. Holidays Mode gives you +10 Tracker Upgrade Points.

Barnstormer: This is now level 7, nothing else has changed. Holidays Mode gives you the Low Gravity modifier.

Paper Trail: This is now level 8, Laser is where you have it listed in the guide, but the Protein Shake is where the Flashlight is supposed to be. Holidays Mode gives you Radioactive Wasabi a flavor for spiders.

Contingency Omega: This is now level 9, no upgrades here but make sure you have the necessary resources for the Arachno Gauntlet as you are forced to complete it here. Holidays Mode gives you the Laser Gun as some equipment.

Consequences: This is now level 10, Sigma Module is where Secret Sniffer is supposed to be, but other than those 2 things nothing else has changed. Holidays Mode gives you Gene Splicer as a modifier.
