Complete all secret Nether levels on any Apocalypse Plus difficulty.

How to unlock the Trial by Fire achievement

    First, you'll need to unlock these levels.
    There are 3 secret scrolls to unlock the 3 secret levels of this DLC. The first secret level, Nether Fortress, is unlocked on the Basalt Deltas level. The second secret level, Crimson Forest, is unlocked on the Warped Forest level. The third secret level, Soulsand Valley, is unlocked on the Crimson Forest level.

    Unlocking the secret missions in this DLC does not require RNG for you to find the maps like previous levels.

    The two main levels Basalt Deltas and Warped Forest have maps right in your path when completing the level.

    The third map is in the secret mission Crimson Forest. It's mostly in your path but you can miss it if you are not careful. It's in the area where you open the gate with the 4 switches. Before going through the gate, go back from the gate and you should see it waiting for you.

    If you did the previous DLC achievements, you should be geared enough for Apocalypse +5. I would recommend doing this DLC at +1 even if you are plenty ready for higher than that. The black skeletons hit you with a damage over time attack and it'll drain your health really fast. Even with the health glitch going it'll tear you up.

    White RabbitOkay.. i got it.. Apocalypse Plus is like another kind of lvl.. you unblock it after doing any mission in Apocalypse VII. After that the mini logo changes... and the secret missions are: Nether Fortress, Soul Sand Valley and Crimson Forrest

    FullMoonBeaverThanks. Managed Crimson Forest easier, but Soul Sand Valley is kicking my ass. Loads of enchanted Wither skeleton archers giving me reason to retreat
