How to unlock the Legendary Perseverance achievement

To reach Niob difficulty and get this achievement, you have to do a playthrough of the Silver, Gold, and Platin campaigns. Once you've done that, simply start up a Niob game with your character and the achievement will unlock. You don't have to beat the Niob campaign for this achievement. The difficulties are not stackable, so you have to do separate playthroughs for each difficulty.

    Some advice:
    1) Start on Silver. You can start on Bronze and do this, but you're adding an unnecessary playthrough, and more importantly you're risking getting to Silver with a character that is weak because Bronze was too easy to point out weaknesses in your build.
    2) Use someone else's build. This is the most important piece of advice I can give. Unless you're a seasoned Sacred 2 pro, this game is NOT noob-friendly and the game WILL punish you if you don't know how to build a well-balanced character. Trust me, there is a lot of information that the instructions/in-game tips don't tell you, and many people have put hours into this game only to find themselves suddenly dying at a higher level because of a weak build. So to save yourself some grief and help you learn the ropes, find a good build and stick to it. Personally, I'm using lordraven's Seraphim build and it's working out beautifully (http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=938603&a...). For more information on understanding how a build works, Sacred 2 Wiki is your friend (http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:Fallen_Angel)
    3) Use this character to get the longer/harder achievements. On your way to Niob, you'll have plenty of time to get some of the bigger achievements like killing 10,000 enemies, doing 200 quests, exploring 50% of the map, and so on. Some achievements like character-specific achievements, Scrooge (don't buy anything for a whole campaign), and Survivalist are best saved for shorter playthroughs with different characters on Bronze, so don't worry about those while on your way to Niob. Xbox360achievements.org has a great road map for thinking about how to organize your campaigns (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/sacred-2-fallen-ange...#).

Licked ScarsJust a couple of tips here. Not going to write enough to post a full solution (as basically it would be a huge FAQ for the game). Character builds are so important here that it's not even funny.

I did a BFG Seraphim (google it for full build details) and got most of the achievements in the first playthrough on Silver (ended at level 55 and about 40 hours), then did Gold and Platinum after that by basically running through from boss to boss, with a bit of grinding to push me up to level 75 so I could get the mastery bonuses/third buff. I thought I'd need this stuff but I didn't.

I didn't die until the last boss on Platinum. Two tips for the last boss: if it kills you, you can go back in and it will be at the same health it was at before, and if you killed any parts of it they will still be dead. Also, you can get it to follow you out into the round hallways. If you do this, the central thing that gives it a shield some time won't be able to reach it.

Ended up finishing Platinum at level 75 and in under 60 hours (the FAQ on x360a said up to 150 hours, lol). I would have spent more time but after I while I really didn't enjoy the game. Tons of bugs, tons of slowdown, and nothing but fetch questing. Someone said this is like Diablo/Diablo 2 (which I loved) and it's just not.

LV 1 Blue Slime^ Yeah it is. Most of the sidequests in Diablo 2 (what few there are) were just dumb fetch quests and they both share the loot grind/character build focus. Sacred 2 is the closest to Diablo on 360 consoles. Sacred 2 obviously has a lot of problems with bugs and such, but it is otherwise the same.

Anyway, I prefer a Shadow Warrior. Death Warrior and Malevolent Champion aspects. Both buffs, both active buffs, Death Blow for bosses, Frenzied Rampage for mobs and the like. As long as you don't mod Grim Resilience for HP Regen like I did its an easy as hell build to use. The best (IMO, obviously) if you are looking to get through the game as painlessly as possible.

All the TigersI need to level up some, it seems, because I started Platinum at 60 and can't even survive regular mobs right before I even get to the Human Realm. With my dual wield Seraphim I didn't have much problem for Gold until the end, where the Inquisitor boss and giant mechanical spider killed me 14 times before I finally downed em. Up to then I didn't have a single problem outside of carelessness.

Guess I'll do quests up to 70 or so before trying again.

The GlobalizerSo, a super scummy tip for the final boss(es) - drag them back to the merchant at the north end of the map. They seem to have a meltdown and either not attack (the first three) or wander around and attack sporadically (the last boss). Even the last boss ended up walking into the doorway to the stairs and let me take his last 50% without retaliating. Useful if you're underleveled on your Platin playthrough...
