  You might be able to get this while just playing, but if you're like me and play on rookie, the CPU doesn't seem to throw balls that often. I got this while going for
  

  The Pitch Collector achievement in MLB The Show 21 worth 73 pointsDuring any plate appearance, see ten or more pitches (Excludes local multiplayer and practice).

  
  following Maxumilli0n's guide.
  
  I will not just copy Maxumilli0n's guide, so go there and copy the settings and sliders he says to use.
  
  Once that's done, start retro mode. As the away team be the Dodgers, and choose the Rockies as the home team opponent.
  
  Move your batter all the way up and inside. Attached (https://imgur.com/joJHpUi) is a picture with what I believe is the strike zone. If the ball looks like it will land in the red you must try to foul. If you have the right sliders, swinging when the ball reaches the blue line will result in a foul. That's how I got the 10 pitches achievement.
  
  So get two strikes or fouls, then try looking for balls in the green zone. Remember that if your batter gets hit he gets a free walk, so if a pitch is really far to the outside, pull your batter out of the way.
  
  If you get the achievement, that means you are just one ball from a walk. So if you are also using the first batter of the inning, you can get

  If you are having trouble, you can restart right from the pause menu.

  I feel like I might be missing something here, but there is no guide from Maxumilli0n.......

  I followed some of Maxumili0n's guide for the pitch collector achievement but made some changes which made them throw a lot more balls. Change batting difficulty to legend and change CPU pitch control all the way to the right.

  I started a moments challenge then had to step away …leaving the game paused I thought. Imagine my surprise when the achievement notification popped on my phone. I got lucky, maybe you will too

  The Free Ticket To 1st achievement in MLB The Show 21 worth 36 pointsDraw a walk with the first batter of an inning (Excludes local multiplayer, franchise and practice).

  
  I did this as Yankees vs Rockies, with Yankees as the away team so I would bat first.
  
  Swing super early to get 2 strikes
  
  After you are 0-2, show a bunt with Y and hold until the strike zone disappears and the pitcher turns.
  Let go of Y and the pitcher will throw a ball every time.
  I did this on rookie hitting difficulty, I don't know if it will work on higher difficulties (smarter pitcher and all that)

  I did not pick the same teams but the show bunt strategy did work for me on the 1st try. I was using the NL All-Stars versus Richmond.
